SPEAKER 17 :
This is Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 05 :
You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out because you’re scared. And you’re scared because if you try and fail, there’s only you to blame. Let me break this down for you. Life is scary. Get used to it. There are no magical fixes.
SPEAKER 14 :
With your host, John Rush.
SPEAKER 19 :
My advice to you is to do what your parents did.
SPEAKER 23 :
Get a job, sir. You haven’t made everybody equal. You’ve made them the same, and there’s a big difference.
SPEAKER 02 :
Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life, that there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there. It is this feeling that has brought you to me.
SPEAKER 19 :
Are you crazy? Am I? Or am I so sane that you just blew your mind?
SPEAKER 12 :
It’s Rush to Reason with your host, John Rush, presented by Cub Creek Heating and Air Conditioning.
SPEAKER 09 :
All right, hour two, Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Myself, Andy Pate, and Richard, are you with us?
SPEAKER 14 :
Well, that I am. All right, is Josh with us? I can say that we are. Yes. Yes.
SPEAKER 09 :
All right, so we’ve got Richard, Andy, Josh. Guys, NFL picks, take it away.
SPEAKER 11 :
All right, let’s do this. Okay, Richard, up first, the Eagles are favored by seven at the Commanders. My question is one that all of America is wanting to know. Who will suck worse?
SPEAKER 14 :
Yeah, Andy, who will watch this game, right? I think that’s the question of maybe the Eagles family members. Yeah. I don’t even think the Commander’s family members will watch this, will they?
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh, no, no, no. I’ve heard they’ve legally disowned them.
SPEAKER 14 :
Well, you know, they should, outside of changing the name and everything else. So, yeah, Andy, I mean, Josh will have more to add on this, but not a great game. I don’t think what the NFL had in mind for a, you know, pre-Christmas appetizer weekend sort of a game, the next game on the schedule… is, but not this one so much. It shouldn’t be a competition for the Eagles. Although, Andy, as you would say, the worst coach in the NFL may show up, but I don’t think he drags them down that much. So I will go Eagles by a lot. So, Joshua?
SPEAKER 26 :
I’m going Eagles 31-10. The commander’s defense the whole season, not just like week 10, but the whole season, they have been terrible. So I also think that the Eagles are going to win because of their offense, first Hasn’t been that well, but Barkley last week had some good runs. And I’m going Eagles 31, Commanders 10.
SPEAKER 11 :
Josh, is it true that the Commanders have called you to suit up for their defense? Nope. They might, just so you know. I want to warn you and get lots of padding. Okay, up next, my Packers, for whatever reason, are favored by one and a half at the Bears. On what earth could the Bears actually be an underdog here?
SPEAKER 14 :
Um, Planet Earth, well, I guess, well, and Josh will get into this. I’m not sure what happened to Patrick last week.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, I got to jump in. We are currently missing five of our top six players to injury. We’re not going to compete in this game. I knew we were going to get blown up. I beat last week. I said that was going to be an easy one. This one, there is no chance. I’m going to say that. I’m calling it right now. Go ahead.
SPEAKER 14 :
The only thing I will say, Andy, to you last week, I was impressed with the Packers. They really held with the Broncos. And I think, honestly, if a certain number of plays don’t happen, the Christian Watson injury, which was the Pat Sertan pick, and obviously Parsons’ injury, I actually think that that game potentially changes. But you are correct. I think the Packers are just a little bit beat up. I think they’re going to make the playoffs, Andy, because I think that they’ll just finish strong after this game. But I think Josh will go into this a little bit more. I’m with you. Although, Andy, I think it’s a close one in Chicago, but I think the Bears take it. Jocelyn?
SPEAKER 26 :
I think the Bears are going to take it due to the injuries, Christian Watson, Micah Parsons. But I still think it’s going to be a close game because they’ve played some pretty good football. Josh Jacobs had a good week last week. Jordan Love had a good week. They still have some of their star players. I’m just saying they don’t have a lot of their star players, but I still think the Bears are going to take this one.
SPEAKER 08 :
What’s the score?
SPEAKER 26 :
28-21. Touchdown win.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, I think it’s going to be worse. But okay, next game, the Bills are favored by 10.5 at the Browns. Is this an easy win for Buffalo?
SPEAKER 14 :
It should be, Andy, but this Bills team all year we’ve talked about hasn’t been quite what they should be. Although, I guess, Andy, I’m going to throw it back to you. Are they rounding into form before the playoffs here?
SPEAKER 11 :
Ah, kind of, but they’re playing some teams that are falling apart, so I don’t really know. Look, I’m not a big believer in the Bills going in. I think they were a first-round loss in the playoffs, and I don’t even know who they’re playing.
SPEAKER 14 :
Well, I was going to say, Andy, lots of people, I guess, would disagree with you. I think lots of people think that the Bills may take it because for Josh Allen, this could be a year where his top quarterback competition isn’t in the playoffs.
SPEAKER 11 :
May take what?
SPEAKER 14 :
I don’t know. It may take the Super Bowl.
SPEAKER 11 :
How are they going to get there through Denver? They’re going to come to Denver and Josh Allen is going to be hit so many times. No.
SPEAKER 14 :
Lots of people don’t necessarily think the Broncos still have a little bit to prove. I’m not saying I’m one of them. I’m just… Just your devil’s advocate. But I’m with you, Andy. Although, and Josh will get into it, I do like the Browns quarterback. Their defense is crazy, even though they’ve given up quite a few points. But, yeah, the Bills will take this one.
SPEAKER 11 :
Let me just jump in on one thing. Oh, sorry.
SPEAKER 14 :
Yes.
SPEAKER 11 :
Out of all the top teams in the AFC, the Broncos are the only healthy one. All the other top teams are missing several key players. The Broncos are missing nobody. No key players.
SPEAKER 14 :
Are the Pats missing anyone?
SPEAKER 11 :
No. Golly, you know what? I haven’t even kept a close eye on the Pats. I think they do have a couple down, but maybe not too many. The Pats are, look, they’re a year away in my opinion. They’re a good young team coming up, but I don’t think they’re there yet. Maybe they are. Go ahead.
SPEAKER 14 :
Well, no, I’m with you, Andy, and you are correct. But anyways, Joshua, what do you think?
SPEAKER 26 :
I think Shador is going to make it closer than it looks, I feel like.
SPEAKER 11 :
That’d be great.
SPEAKER 26 :
But… Yeah, I feel like he’s going to be – but I feel like Josh Allen is going to be a – if there was an MVP of the game, it would be named Josh Allen. Even though Garrett’s going to bring some pressure.
SPEAKER 14 :
Does he break the sack record this week, Josh?
SPEAKER 26 :
No.
SPEAKER 14 :
He only needs one sack, and the Bills’ offensive line is terrible.
SPEAKER 26 :
Even though their offensive line is beat up, maybe he might break the record, maybe not.
SPEAKER 14 :
We’ll go with he ties the record.
SPEAKER 26 :
He ties the record.
SPEAKER 14 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 26 :
Bills versus Browns, I’m going Bills here, 42-28.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, next game. We’ve got to speed it up here, guys. We’re going to go to the Chargers or at the Cowboys. Cowboys are favored by two and a half. Why is Dallas favored? I asked God in a prayer this morning, why is Dallas favored? He said, I don’t know either.
SPEAKER 14 :
Well, I’m not sure either. Joshua, you start on this one.
SPEAKER 26 :
I feel like the Chargers are going to win 31-21. Chargers win because of Omari Hampton. He’s been pretty good. He’s a first-round rookie pick, I think. And he’s done a lot of damage to other teams’ defenses. Blown up big runs. He’s gotten a lot of passes on the outside. But I think a lot of the Cowboys’ defense gives up a lot of points. One of the worst defenses in the NFL. 31-21. There you go. What do you got, Richard?
SPEAKER 14 :
Yeah, I think it’ll be a little bit closer than Josh thinks, Andy. I think the Chargers, they’re beat up, but I think they’re just kind of that scrappy team. I think the Cowboys can score, can score with them. And so for me, I’m going to take the Chargers. Andy, I guess a better question, I can’t believe the Chargers are an underdog in this game, to be honest with you, but I’ll take the Chargers by a field goal.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, I agree. Look, the Chargers are a team, if they were fully healthy, I would be picking probably to go to the Super Bowl. Okay, they’re not even close. They’re missing their top two, two of their top three players on offense who are their offensive tackles, missing a key wide receiver, missing a couple guys on defense. The Chargers are a mess. Okay, but the Dells Cowboys are worse. I’ll take the Chargers next game. The Chiefs are favored by three at the Titans. Okay, Richard, could we write only favored by three over the Titans on the Chiefs headstone?
SPEAKER 14 :
Um, you should, Andy, but then you obviously have to put the asterisk there of without Patty, right? Yeah, I know, but still, geez, it’s the Titans. Andy, obviously you and I haven’t talked about this since. That injury, and I know, real quick side note, if you’re Mahomes, do you rush back next year? Or if you’re the Chiefs, do you have him slow play it and come back halfway through the year or something? Because it’s not a typical ACL, right? They had the LCL injury too. It provides a little bit more complexity here.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, I don’t do either. I split the difference and I go pup to begin the season, which keeps you out the first month. And then I ease back in over the next couple weeks.
SPEAKER 14 :
What do you think? Yeah, honestly, for me, Andy, if I was a Chiefs, I’d keep him out for the whole season. Or, like you said, you ease him in. And, of course, selfishly, I’m sitting as a Bronco.
SPEAKER 11 :
I don’t think it matters, dude. The Chiefs are done for a long time. They’re not going to be a factor for probably a few years.
SPEAKER 14 :
I don’t think so. You are correct. Well, even with that said, Andy, old Gardner Minshew, you know, Journeyman, Uncle Rico, whatever you want to call him. I like him. I think he’ll pull it out at least. I do, too. And he’ll play well enough with Andy Reid this week that he’ll be good. Maybe not so next week with the Broncos. But I think they should get the Titans mainly because the Titans are a mess. Joshua?
SPEAKER 26 :
I think with Patrick Mahomes injured, it’s going to be closer than it looks because I don’t feel like Minshew that trade last, they traded. They signed him. They signed him, basically. Yeah. I feel like that kind of put them in a better position if Patty got injured, but I still don’t think. And if the Titans, if their special teams can come out with at least a touchdown, they are going to win.
SPEAKER 14 :
They may get them. Okay, what’s your score?
SPEAKER 26 :
I’m going 21-7 Chiefs.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, guys, we’ve got to go rapid fire here. The Bengals are favored by four and a half of the Dolphins. Who will hurt their draft position this week?
SPEAKER 14 :
The Bengals at the Dolphins.
SPEAKER 11 :
Dolphins, of course, their quarterback is out.
SPEAKER 14 :
The Bengals are going to hurt their draft position, Andy, because the Dolphins are not good and they just benched Tua. So I’m going to go Bengals, especially even though Joe Burrow is in a sad, depressed state because he’s realizing he’s stuck in Cincinnati. But that’s a different conversation. Joshua, what do you think?
SPEAKER 26 :
I think Bengals too here. The Bengals can win by passing. I actually think it’s going to be a closer game because of Devon Aitken. He’s been very good these past few games. What’s your score? My score is 31-27, four-point game for the Bengals because I think Burrow is going to get some runs. and they’re going to pass it to Chase. There you go.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, I personally believe Job’s friends were right. I always thought they were wrong, but they were actually right. Joe Burrow did offend God somehow, and I don’t know how. Okay, up next is the New York Jets. Yeah, terrible doctrine. The New York Jets are on the road at the Saints. The Saints are actually favored by five and a half in a game. Why play this game? Will even the players’ families watch this?
SPEAKER 14 :
Yes, Andy, because the Saints, you know, their time of year here, or I guess that’s Mardi Gras. I’m not sure. It’s their time of year. The Jets are not very good. And again, the Jets should be competing because they need a quarterback. Maybe the Saints have one, Andy, with Tyler Shook. I’m not entirely sure here. So I will go with the Saints at home, Andy. Josh has a different take.
SPEAKER 26 :
I think it’s actually going to be the Jets here because they have one. They started off with the worst teams in the NFL, but then they turned it over and they won the bangle. And I feel a sweet thing, but I don’t even know why you’re playing this game. Two terrible teams.
SPEAKER 15 :
What’s the score?
SPEAKER 26 :
I think it’s 21-11. A 28-14. Who? Jets. Okay.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, why not? But I’m going to take the Saints in this just because they’re at home. Two bad teams, one’s at home. Okay, the Vikings are favored by three over the Giants. With a Giants team that has given up all hope, why is the line only three points?
SPEAKER 14 :
uh the only reason is because they don’t believe in jj mccarthy because he’s obviously he had a better game last week but uh and i jackson dart played this week i think he does andy but that guy keeps hurting himself which if he doesn’t get that figured out he’s done for right i mean can we pretty confidently say that which is unfortunate because if he doesn’t start protecting himself he’s just not going to be long for this league um and the giants andy i guess Side note, really quick, if the Giants get the first pick, do they trade it? Do they take maybe the best defensive player available? This isn’t a great top of the draft, in my opinion. I’ll call it.
SPEAKER 11 :
Let me call it. They trade it. Because they already have their quarterback. He’s really good. And you’re going to get a lot of picks, a lot of good stuff, so you trade it.
SPEAKER 14 :
I don’t disagree. I guess it’s a matter of, yeah, where do you go to, that sort of thing. But, Andy, I’m going to go with the Vikings here, mainly because they have a better coach because the Giants obviously have an interim coach. So I will go with the Vikings on the road here. Joshua, what do you think? Or I guess Vikings are at home, so I guess I’ll go Vikings. Oh, no, Vikings are away. So I’ll go with the Vikings because they have a better coach. Joshua, go ahead.
SPEAKER 26 :
I think it’s actually going to be the Giants here. If they get Dart back, that’s the only reason they’re going to win. If they get Dart back, then they’re going to win because he can throw darts.
SPEAKER 11 :
He can throw darts. He can throw darts. Well done. Okay, next game, the Buccaneers are favored by three at the Panthers. If the Vikings were in this division, who would win it?
SPEAKER 14 :
The Vikings maybe, Andy.
SPEAKER 11 :
I know.
SPEAKER 14 :
What a division. Go ahead. Who wins this game? All right, Josh, you’re going to get started. The Bucs versus the Panthers.
SPEAKER 26 :
The Bucs versus Panthers. I actually think that the Panthers here are going to take the win. Side note. Baker had gotten injured, and I feel like when they play the… You think that’s carrying over? That’s carrying over him, yes, definitely. And the Panthers win if they run on the outside. They got Dowdle, and Dowdle has been pretty good. And the Bucs and Baker cannot throw. Baker, when he injured his arm, it just stayed with him. He hasn’t been able to throw all deep bombs.
SPEAKER 14 :
So what do you think the final score is?
SPEAKER 26 :
I think Bucs 30, Panthers 37.
SPEAKER 14 :
Okay, Bucs 30. Okay, and Andy, I’m going to go, I guess, well, so, yeah, so Panthers 37. I’ll go the same, Andy. I like the, I like the, oh, Josh is saying overtime. I like the Panthers at home here, Andy. I think the Bucs are sort of faltering a little bit down the stretch, and we’ll see that continue. So I’ll go Panthers at home.
SPEAKER 11 :
I agree. I’m going to take the Panthers. Next game, Jaguars coming here to Denver. Denver favored by three. Can any team not named Seattle, or I don’t even know, is there any team at this point that can give Denver a challenge?
SPEAKER 14 :
Yes, I think you’ll see it this week, Andy, although I’m not as high on the Jags as some other folks are.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, but Denver is so healthy. My gosh, they don’t lose anybody who matters at all. It’s incredible.
SPEAKER 14 :
The big stat from ESPN this week is Jacksonville is the fourth lowest pressure team in the entire NFL, and so they don’t pressure a lot. You combine that with the Broncos’ good offensive line, and we excel at quick pressures on defense for Trevor Lawrence. For that reason, I’m going to go with the Broncos at home, but my son, Broncos fan, disagrees.
SPEAKER 26 :
Even though I like the Broncos, I love the Broncos, I think the Jags are going to beat the Broncos here. The Broncos coming off a big win. I think that the Jags, 31-27. I expect Knicks to run it, even though they’re not… I think that since we have a good offensive line, they might bring pressure on the outside. And I think Lawrence… He’s going to give it to his ordering back.
SPEAKER 14 :
To ETN?
SPEAKER 26 :
Yeah, they get a lot of touchdowns lately.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, I’m taking the Broncos at home. Next game, the Falcons are favored by three over the Cardinals. Who hurts their draft position in this game?
SPEAKER 14 :
um the cardinals andy only because uh they’re not very good and kirk cousins is auditioning for his next team next year because he’s going to be playing another couple of years and he’s auditioning for who that’s going to be for so i know it’s on the road um and the falcons he looked like he looked a little bit more comfortable andy like a quarterback who’s had a few starts underneath him By the way, sleeper team, Andy, for maybe moving up for a quarterback next year is the Falcons. Although, didn’t they give away, didn’t the Falcons give away?
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, they already traded up for Pennix. I don’t know that they’re going to do that again.
SPEAKER 14 :
Well, no, Andy, they traded for the defensive guy last year.
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh, that’s right. You’re right.
SPEAKER 14 :
They got Pennix with the other pick. I think they traded with the Rams, if I’m not mistaken, for the kid out of Tennessee. I still think they like Pennix.
SPEAKER 11 :
I think they do.
SPEAKER 14 :
Well, they may like him, Andy, but I’m not sure the rest of the NFL does. So I will go with the Falcons here on the road. Joshua?
SPEAKER 26 :
I actually think it’s going to be the Cardinals because the Cardinals these past few weeks have been playing some good football. And even though they lost to the Rams, that was I. I already knew that they were going to lose that game. But I actually think that since they’ve been playing good football these last few weeks, they can actually bring it to 35-21 Cardinals.
SPEAKER 11 :
I don’t like either team. They both lose. All right, I’ll take the Falcons. Why not? Steelers are at the Lions. Lions favored by seven. Is the Steelers’ season about to collapse?
SPEAKER 14 :
I don’t know if it’ll collapse, Andy, because we’ll talk about the other game here in a second. The better question is, is the Lions’ season going to collapse? Because who knows if Aaron Rodgers is going to come in and play spoiler. Steelers get J.J. Watt back. I think the Lions, Andy, I believe they’re at home, right? Steelers at Lions? Yep. And for that reason, the Lions have got a lot to play for. They’ve got to keep winning if they want to make the playoffs, Andy. They’re pretty much out of the division. So I’ll go with the Lions at home. Josh?
SPEAKER 26 :
I think it’s going to be the Lions too, yes. And I think Gibbs runs it very well. He’s the number one running back, and I think Metcalf has seven or more receptions. I think it’s Lions 29, Steelers 21, final OT.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, I got the Lions as well. Next game is easy. Raiders are at the Texans. Texans favored by 14.5. Could the Raiders get the top pick?
SPEAKER 14 :
They could. I don’t think they will, and the other teams want it more. We’ll talk a few weeks.
SPEAKER 11 :
That’s true. It’s all about desire.
SPEAKER 14 :
And the Texans really want it. They need this game coming down the stretch. So, yeah, Texans buy a lot. Josh?
SPEAKER 26 :
I think the Texans win 31-14 because I feel like the Texans’ defense is the number one defense, and they at least get two picks.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, Josh, I disagree with you. I think the Texans win 31 to negative 14. Yes. Somehow the Raiders will score negative 14. You can bank on it. Okay, next game. The Patriots are on the road at the Ravens. Patriots just lost to an average Bills team. Does the slide continue?
SPEAKER 14 :
Um… I think so. Actually, Andy, I’m going to say no. Maybe Josh will disagree with me, which is okay. Only because I don’t trust the Ravens, Andy. I think that team’s a hot mess. I actually think they need a reset as an organization. And selfishly, I don’t want them to win either because I… I don’t trust Lamar in the playoffs, Andy, but I also don’t want to play Lamar in the playoffs.
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh, but you’d love to play their defense in the playoffs.
SPEAKER 14 :
You would, but I just – Ole! That’s their tackling style. I’ll take one time. So I’m with you, Andy. So I will go with the Patriots here. Maybe I trust Drake May a little bit more, but we’ll see. I think it’s a close one, but we’ll take the Patriots on the road. Josh?
SPEAKER 26 :
I’m actually picking Ravens 31-27 because I expect the Ravens defense to get at least two sacks on Drake May because their offensive line is beat up. They lost an offensive line.
SPEAKER 11 :
You’re right. Okay, there you go. Okay, I’m going to take the Patriots. And the last game, the 49ers are favored by six of the Colts. Do the Niners keep pace in the West? Josh?
SPEAKER 26 :
Yes, I think the 49ers are going to beat the Colts 28-14, two touchdown games. I think McCaffrey’s going to have 100-plus scrimmage yards. He’s done that a lot this season. And Tyler Warren, I think, has an anytime touchdown.
SPEAKER 14 :
Anytime touchdown for Tyler Warren?
SPEAKER 26 :
Anytime touchdown.
SPEAKER 14 :
Does Phillip Rivers, obviously, well, for Tyler Warren, so Phillip Rivers throws another touchdown pass? 44-year-old Phillip Rivers? Yes. That’s older than your dad. Do you know that? No. Andy, yes, I’m with Joshua here. The 49ers continue. And Andy, with the upset last night, the 49ers have a chance to, I guess, control their own destiny. They can be the number one seed in the NFC playoffs, even with all of their injuries. Not sure it necessarily happens, Andy, but in this case, unfortunately for the Colts, their magical season will come to a run and dad, grandpa, Phillip Rivers will be shut down.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, he will. By the way, John, how many grandkids do you have total? Nine. Nine? That’s about how many kids Phillip Rivers has, just so you know. I’ll take the Niners as well, and there you go. We’re done.
SPEAKER 09 :

Flesh Law, whether it’s civil, criminal, you name it, Kevin is there to help you on either side of that equation. 303-806-8886.
SPEAKER 25 :
Here’s why you need personal injury attorney Kevin Flesch on your side. He understands the way the jury thinks. In the context of a personal injury case, you’ve been hurt by someone else’s negligence. The idea is that you’re going to try to recover so that you can get back to where you were just prior to that incident occurring. What that really means from a jurist’s perspective is that you’re going to be asking them to award you money. So when we talk about fairness, we’re talking about six people that you don’t know. Those six people view the evidence and make a unanimous decision that will decide what the fair value is. When you’re the one who’s hurt, you have a good idea of what you think it’s worth. The question is, can you persuade those other individuals whom you don’t know and were witnesses to believe that’s what the case is worth? Kevin Flesch understands the way the jury thinks. SPEAKER 09 :
All right, now we’re into movie rentals. Christmas movies, Andy, take it away.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, best Christmas movie of all time. I think we can all agree.
SPEAKER 07 :
Die Hard.
SPEAKER 18 :
Yep. He’s an easy guy to like.
SPEAKER 07 :
Come out to the coast, we’ll get together, have a few laughs.
SPEAKER 18 :
And a hard man to kill. Bruce Willis. Die Hard. Got invited to the Christmas party by mistake. Who knew?
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay. I love Die Hard. Corey and I watch it every year. Can’t get enough. Okay. There you go.
SPEAKER 14 :
Richard, you’re up. Andy, I don’t appreciate your tongue-in-cheekness for the first one. What? But we will allow it. No! You are so wrong, sir. I didn’t say it wasn’t. I didn’t say it wasn’t. I just said, you know. Tongue-in-cheek. All right. My first pick is going to be from my son, Samuel. Samuel, which one?
SPEAKER 26 :
Home Alone.
SPEAKER 14 :
Which one? One, two, or three?
SPEAKER 26 :
One.
SPEAKER 09 :
Good one. Best one. Goes with the classic.
SPEAKER 11 :
One of our favorites. He goes with the classic. The number one. Kevin McAllister. Well done, sir. Well done.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, that’s a good one. Good job. Let’s see here. How about, well, I’m sure there’s a clip on this one, so I’ll go ahead and say Christmas Vacation.
SPEAKER 11 :
I don’t have a clip. No clip? You know what? Christmas vacation is really hard to get clips.
SPEAKER 09 :
Because there’s so many.
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, it’s kind of hard to get clips.
SPEAKER 09 :
Get clean clips.
SPEAKER 11 :
Clean clips. There you go. It’s pretty difficult to get clips of that, believe it or not. That’s hilarious. I know. Okay. I got to go with another classic and hear it. Oh, gee. I don’t understand this. Just a second here. Here we go.
SPEAKER 08 :
All right.
SPEAKER 19 :
He doesn’t… Get back to the story, please.
SPEAKER 16 :
So, on the cover above the title. Does Santa know that you left the workshop? You know, we’re all laughing our heads off. Did you have to borrow a reindeer to get down here?
SPEAKER 17 :
Buddies, go back to the basement. Hey, Jackweed, I get more action in a week than you’ve had your entire life. I’ve got houses in L.A., Paris, and Vail. Each one of them with a 70-inch plasma screen. So I suggest you wipe that stupid smile off your face before I come over there and smack it off. You feeling strong, my friend? Call me elf one more time.
SPEAKER 11 :
He’s an angry elf. He’s an angry elf. I’m sorry, but he’s an angry elf is one of the funniest moments.
SPEAKER 14 :
Yeah, that’s a good one.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yes. Okay.
SPEAKER 14 :
By the way, I can’t believe you didn’t have a clip from Christmas Vacation, Andy. That should be almost grounds for you being dismissed from the show for today.
SPEAKER 11 :
Like I said, I have searched clips on that before. You can come up with them. You can actually do better on other vacation movies than Christmas Vacation. It’s difficult. But go ahead, sir.
SPEAKER 14 :
It is very difficult. All right, I’m going to go with one from my daughter, although she doesn’t want to hop on the radio. But you’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch, Andy.
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh, yeah. Total classic.
SPEAKER 14 :
Here we go. And actually, granted, oh, go ahead.
SPEAKER 24 :
You’re a monster, Mr. Grinch. Your heart’s an empty hole. Your brain is full of spiders. You’ve got garlic in your soul, Mr. Grinch. I wouldn’t touch you with a 39-and-a-half-foot pole.
SPEAKER 11 :
Mr. Grinch. Total classic. Yep. Total classic. Absolutely. Which one’s better, Andy?
SPEAKER 14 :
Which one’s better? The new one with Benedict Cumberbatch or… Cumberbun?
SPEAKER 11 :
I like the classic cartoon.
SPEAKER 14 :
Or Jim Carrey.
SPEAKER 11 :
Or Jim Carrey. You like the original. I like the original original. I like Jim Carrey’s one, too.
SPEAKER 14 :
I like Jim Carrey’s probably more. What do you think? His is really good. I like the new one. The new one’s kind of funny. It’s not as… Slow paced is the original. Yeah, that’s true. That’s true.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay. All right, am I up? You are up, sir. Only because we mentioned it earlier, and I love Billy Bob Bad Santa.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 09 :
Do you have a clip?
SPEAKER 11 :
Well, I’m having problems. Here we go. You have a clip. Here we go.
SPEAKER 22 :
It’s not real. Well, it was real. I got sick and all the hair fell out.
SPEAKER 07 :
Had to get sick.
SPEAKER 22 :
I loved a woman that wasn’t clean.
SPEAKER 07 :
Mrs. Santa?
SPEAKER 22 :
No, it was her sister.
SPEAKER 07 :
Oh, no. Where’s your sleigh?
SPEAKER 22 :
It’s in the shop.
SPEAKER 23 :
Where’s the reindeer?
SPEAKER 22 :
It’s in the stable.
SPEAKER 23 :
Where’s the stable?
SPEAKER 22 :
Next to the shop.
SPEAKER 23 :
How do they sleep? Are you messing with me?
SPEAKER 22 :
There’s something about the guy that makes me uneasy. Now, a hopeless… Bad Santa.
SPEAKER 11 :
It’s just wrong. I’m sorry. It’s just totally wrong.
SPEAKER 09 :
It is. Okay. It’s really wrong.
SPEAKER 11 :
Are we going to John?
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, I guess we should because I was the last round. John, you’re up. Go ahead.
SPEAKER 15 :
I’m sorry.
SPEAKER 09 :
No, you’re fine.
SPEAKER 15 :
I always laugh at that movie. I’m going to go old school and some uplifting movies. Let’s go with the original Miracle on 34th Street. Yep. Yeah, they made that remake in the 80s. It was terrible. It was. But… And then you can’t go wrong with Bing, and that would be the bells of St. Mary’s. Oh, yes. Wonderful. And Ingrid Bergman.
SPEAKER 11 :
Love me some Bing. Love me some Bing. You guys have a good week.
SPEAKER 09 :
We’ll do it. You bet, John. Appreciate you very much. Let’s do this. We’ll take a break. We’ll come back. Have a nice little long segment that way. Golden Eagle Financial coming up next. Interview of late from Al. Listen in. Find him at klzradio.com.
SPEAKER 20 :
Hi, I’m Al Smith from Golden Eagle Financial. You may have heard my radio show or one of my ads here on KLZ. I’ve had the show for over five years. I really enjoy providing information and I try to make it interesting. You have a lot of choices when it comes to selecting an advisor. A few things about me. I’m a fiduciary. I’ve been in the business over 30 years. And if you call my office, depending on the day and time, you might reach me. If my office manager takes the call or if it goes to voicemail, you’ll be contacted very quickly. When we sit down to discuss your financial concerns, before we go over any statements of your accounts, we’ll take a deep dive into what you want your future to look like. Not just the financial component, but a little bit about your family, how you plan to spend your time, where you plan to live, and any plans you have to give back. or to volunteer. I want to learn about what makes you happy, what brings you joy. We can then craft a plan together that takes all these things into consideration. To learn more, contact me through the KLZ website.
SPEAKER 12 :
Live and local, back to Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 09 :
All right, movie rentals, favorite Christmas movies. Go ahead, Andy.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, obviously the classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, but I do it every year as taught through Frasier Crane in Chairs. Here we go.
SPEAKER 19 :
No kidding.
SPEAKER 09 :
You know, Rudolph is my favorite guy in the Christmas songs.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah. Apparently, then, Woody, you’re unaware that the story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is one of the most unrealistic and therefore potentially damaging in all of children’s music. It gives them a horribly distorted view of reality.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, but you gotta admit, it’s easy to whistle. No.
SPEAKER 04 :
Look, I’m serious. No, first the other reindeer tease and then ostracize him, and then when his abnormality proves of service, they use him. But then, do they allow him to play in their stupid reindeer games? Yes. Oh, no, no, no, no. I know how the song goes. In fact, not only do Donner, Blitzen, et al. not love him and laugh out with glee, but they doubly despise the bulbous nose little wimp. Well, I got to be off. Happy holidays.
SPEAKER 09 :
Well, I got to be off. Happy holidays. I’m sorry. It’s such a classic. That is funny.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, Richard, you’re up.
SPEAKER 14 :
All right, Andy, my wife puts this into the family affair these days for Christmases. Oh, I was going to say that next. Well, you can blame Lauren.
SPEAKER 11 :
I love it.
SPEAKER 14 :
No, no, that’s Reese Witherspoon and James Bond.
SPEAKER 11 :
And that was John’s last one. He’s out.
SPEAKER 09 :
That’s a hilarious movie.
SPEAKER 11 :
Pretty much, Andy.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay, no, I got one better than that. Office Christmas Party.
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh, that’s pretty wrong.
SPEAKER 09 :
You shouldn’t watch.
SPEAKER 11 :
No, don’t watch that, kids. Not for you. Okay. I got to do a classic, Just to Anger, because I love to anger John Rush. I don’t know why, but I do. Here we go.
SPEAKER 09 :
Oh, geez, Andy.
SPEAKER 08 :
Yes! Oh, Andy. Andy, Andy, Andy.
SPEAKER 09 :
Where’s your happiness? This should not be allowed.
SPEAKER 10 :
Where’s your joy?
SPEAKER 09 :
They never should have been allowed. What’s the guy’s name, Jim?
SPEAKER 11 :
What’s his name?
SPEAKER 09 :
The biggest evil individual on the planet.
SPEAKER 11 :
You know, the funny thing is when they do these things where they ask people, what is your favorite Christmas movie of all time? Muppet’s Christmas Carol comes in in the top five every time.
SPEAKER 09 :
Morons.
SPEAKER 11 :
Every time.
SPEAKER 09 :
Morons. Nationwide. What can I say?
SPEAKER 11 :
It was really well made. It was better than any of the other Muppet movies.
SPEAKER 09 :
Sure it was.
SPEAKER 11 :
It was.
SPEAKER 09 :
There’s no such thing as a good Muppet movie.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yes, there is.
SPEAKER 09 :
They’re all awful. Yes, there is. No, they’re all awful.
SPEAKER 11 :
You’re just jealous because Kermit is an incredible actor.
SPEAKER 09 :
I hate puppets.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 09 :
Period.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, Richard, you’re up. You can’t follow that, I know. It’s too good.
SPEAKER 14 :
But go ahead. You are correct, Andy. I will try with one of the, I think, I mean, I know we were talking about best Christmas movies before, and you’re wrong with Die Hard. But this one may be up there, and that is Santa Claus.
SPEAKER 09 :
Oh, yeah. Great movie.
SPEAKER 14 :
You mean the Santa Claus. Yep. You are correct. The Santa Claus, Andy.
SPEAKER 11 :
I thought it was excellent. I thought Alan was perfect for that movie. He was so funny.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, I loved it. It was great. Phenomenal. Good call. Another movie that’s – actually, it’s really funny, but kids probably shouldn’t watch, but why him?
SPEAKER 11 :
I have not seen it.
SPEAKER 09 :
Oh, wait.
SPEAKER 11 :
No, no. You mean where she’s marrying the guy that her dad doesn’t like?
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And he’s a rich gamer dude and super, super wealthy. He’s totally annoying. Oh, that’s hilarious.
SPEAKER 10 :
That’s a good one.
SPEAKER 09 :
Good one. All right. Let’s do this. Joe, you are next. Go ahead, Joe.
SPEAKER 10 :
One of my favorites is Scrooged with Bill Murray. I don’t know if you recall the movie with the angel. He’s got the three-day beard and the cigar butt in his face. Remember the movie?
SPEAKER 11 :
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen it, yes. And I have a clip. Here we go.
SPEAKER 18 :
You are going to be visited by three ghosts. Expect the first one tomorrow at noon.
SPEAKER 05 :
God, tomorrow’s bad for me, Lou.
SPEAKER 19 :
I’m the ghost.
SPEAKER 18 :
I’m the ghost of Christmas present. I had a funny feeling.
SPEAKER 11 :
I can’t get the antlers glued onto this little guy. Have you tried staples?
SPEAKER 10 :
Don’t you dare.
SPEAKER 11 :
I thought Scrooged was excellent.
SPEAKER 10 :
Who played the woman?
SPEAKER 11 :
Carol? Yeah, Carol. What’s her name from The Princess by Carol Kane?
SPEAKER 10 :
Carol Kane, yeah. And, of course, it’s just a modern-day take on the Christmas carol. But, you know, what a great—I really loved that one. It was great. Loved it.
SPEAKER 11 :
All right, guys.
SPEAKER 09 :
All right, Joe. Appreciate you, man. Have a great night. All right. You’re up, Andy.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, this is a movie that came out a couple years ago. I gave it four stars, and I’m telling you what, it is definitely worth watching The Holdovers.
SPEAKER 13 :
Sir, I don’t understand.
SPEAKER 25 :
That’s glaringly apparent. I can’t fail this class. Oh, don’t sell yourself short, Mr. Coates. I truly believe that you can’t.
SPEAKER 19 :
Every year at Barton Academy, students, faculty, and staff depart the campus for a two-week winter break. But there are always an unfortunate few who have nowhere to go for the holidays. They’re known as the Holdovers.
SPEAKER 03 :
Mr. Hunnam. Hello, Mary. I heard you got stuck with babysitting duty this year. How’d you manage that?
SPEAKER 15 :
You know, he used to be a student, right? Yeah, that’s why he knows how to inflict maximum pain on me. I thought all the Nazis were hiding in Argentina.
SPEAKER 10 :
Stifle it, Tully.
SPEAKER 11 :
I’m telling you guys, it’s a bit long, don’t get me wrong, but it is a quality movie. The holdovers, I don’t know anyone who has seen it who didn’t like it. Okay, Richard, you’re up.
SPEAKER 14 :
Noted, Andy, noted.
SPEAKER 11 :
All right, another one from my wife, The Holiday.
SPEAKER 09 :
The Holiday.
SPEAKER 11 :
That one I have not seen. Yeah, I don’t think.
SPEAKER 09 :
Queen Latifah?
SPEAKER 14 :
I like Queen Latifah. Sure, sure.
SPEAKER 09 :
So it’s called The Holiday.
SPEAKER 14 :
I don’t even know if I’ve ever seen it, to be honest. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it either.
SPEAKER 11 :
I haven’t seen it, but she’s funny. I know that.
SPEAKER 09 :
Gotcha. Okay.
SPEAKER 11 :
All right. John, you’re up.
SPEAKER 09 :
Let’s see here. Got to mark these off so I don’t screw up. How about, gosh, there’s a ton. Little Drummer Boy.
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh, classic.
SPEAKER 09 :
Beautiful. When I was a kid, that was one of my favorites.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yep. Okay, here’s an underrated one. Came out two years ago. I believe it was two years ago. Called Red One. Here we go.
SPEAKER 03 :
What am I doing here? Last night, Red One, also known as St. Nicholas of Myra, was abducted from the North Pole complex.
SPEAKER 17 :
Are you saying Santa Claus has been kidnapped? Garcia?
SPEAKER 11 :
you can’t trust this guy he’s on the list you don’t mean yes that list nl4 are you telling me this clown is a level four naughty lister a level four naughty lister oh is that funny you’re gonna help us find nick i’m serious and it had you know the rock in it i thought it was a very funny movie i really enjoyed it red one did you see that one richard
SPEAKER 14 :
I did. Actually, we just re-watched it the other day. It’s definitely not like your traditional Christmas movie. I guess it’s Christmas rockified is maybe the right way to say it.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, and I just thought it was good. I thought it didn’t get the greatest reviews, but I thought it was very enjoyable. You were up?
SPEAKER 14 :
Yeah, it was entertaining. Definitely some weird parts as far as Santa’s brother and some of the other stuff. Yes. If you can get past some of that, it’s kind of fun, so I’m with you. Okay. All right, again, we’ll go much lighter than Red 1. This is one we watch every Christmas Eve. The Star. Oh, yes. Which is a great anime. It’s a great family one. It’s animated, Andy, but it is a great family film. It’s a beautiful Christian film. I love it. John, you’re up.
SPEAKER 09 :
It’s called The Star. The Star.
SPEAKER 14 :
Andy, did you, sorry, one of the reasons, I guess, and yes, I did miss your movie reviews. Sorry. Did you do the new, the David one? No, I didn’t. I’m going to do that on Tuesday.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, I will be curious to hear your review of it. I will be, too. I haven’t seen it yet. I’m going to see it this weekend. Go ahead, John.
SPEAKER 09 :
Polar Express. Yeah. Everybody looks creepy. It does. They look creepy, but I like it.
SPEAKER 14 :
But, Andy. That’s cute, though. So, 2004, that movie came out. Did you realize it was, like, the first movie to use, basically, like, motion capture to capture…
SPEAKER 11 :
people yeah like them it was really a trailblazer it’s really incredible when you think about it yeah it was it was it was i just i don’t know i found it a little weird okay up next is a movie not for the kids and it is the ref compared to how i feel about the rest of their family the tv’s broke what are you gonna do on my leave to celebrate the birth of christ i hate this guy his wife these kids and this lady i think this is sick
SPEAKER 03 :
It was a nightmare.
SPEAKER 08 :
It was just… Shut up!
SPEAKER 03 :
Cops and candles and kids and booze and fruitcake and Santa Claus and… Sex and drugs and women being set on fire. Fascinating. It was such a nightmare that now I hate Christmas.
SPEAKER 11 :
The ref is very good. It’s a criminal who gets stuck with a family. He has to take them hostage and they are totally messed up and it is really funny. Dennis Leary is the star. Richard, you’re up.
SPEAKER 14 :
All right, one, Andy, that I guess is on Netflix. My wife, again, she’s watched pretty much all these Christmas movies, and she said it’s really good. And that is, hold on, Champagne Problems. I have never seen that. Never heard of it.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay. Yeah, it’s on Netflix. She said it’s really good. Cool. Okay, so we got a new one, Champagne Problems.
SPEAKER 09 :
The problem is I can’t spell champagne.
SPEAKER 11 :
Champagny. Well, that’s a different conversation. Champagny.
SPEAKER 09 :
Go ahead, John. Let’s do, how about, gosh, there’s so many. Family Man.
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh, yeah. That’s classic. It’s a good movie. A little Nick Cage.
SPEAKER 09 :
It’s good.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, one that I do every year, the, you know, Zombies and Christmas, Anna and the Apocalypse. Here we go.
SPEAKER 08 :
Trap’s in a moment, ready to step.
SPEAKER 11 :
And it goes on a little bit. You know, a good zombie Christmas musical.
SPEAKER 09 :
What do you think? Gotcha. Yeah, musical, I’m out.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, I know. Even though you probably sing nonstop when you’re at home.
SPEAKER 09 :
No, I do not.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay, Richard, you’re up.
SPEAKER 14 :
All right, I’ll go with one from my mother-in-law. It says from, I think it’s a Netflix one, Christmas Chronicles with Kurt Russell. Oh, yeah. That’s decent.
SPEAKER 11 :
I got that on my list. Yeah, it’s on here. It’s a classic. Yeah, it’s a fun one. Go ahead, John.
SPEAKER 09 :
I’m trying to pick something we don’t always talk about. Okay. Let’s do, oh gosh, Deck the Halls.
SPEAKER 11 :
Deck the Halls. Well done, sir. I’m going to do, let’s see here, Daddy’s Home 2. Oh, good one. Go ahead, Richard. We’re going to go rapid fire here. Let’s pick it up.
SPEAKER 14 :
I didn’t know that was a Christmas one. All right. It is. Okay, another one from my mother-in-law. Sassy Santa. Sassy Santa.
SPEAKER 11 :
This is great. I’ve never heard of this.
SPEAKER 09 :
I’ve never heard of it either. I have no idea, Andy.
SPEAKER 11 :
No idea. I’m relying on people here. That’s okay. It’s okay. You know, of course, they’re making up titles and making you look bad. Love Actually. You would have no idea, would you, Andy? I would not.
SPEAKER 09 :
Love Actually, that’s mine.
SPEAKER 11 :
That’s yours. Okay, here’s one out of nowhere. Prancer.
SPEAKER 09 :
Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER 11 :
It was pretty good. Richard, you’re up.
SPEAKER 14 :
All right, one that you should not watch, or you should not watch with kids, I should say, Violence Night, Andy.
SPEAKER 11 :
I’ve actually got a clip, but we don’t have time.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, somebody actually mentioned that on the text line as well, so good.
SPEAKER 11 :
I thought Violence Night was pretty good.
SPEAKER 09 :
Wrong, but… Silent Night.
SPEAKER 11 :
Silent Night. Okay. How about… I’m going to get totally weird here. The Night Before Christmas, and that’s K-N-I-G-H-T.
SPEAKER 09 :
The Night Before Christmas.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, it’s a comedy, romantic comedy. Okay, Richard, you’re up.
SPEAKER 14 :
I don’t think we’ve said this one yet. Have we, Andy? A Christmas story? We have not. I know it’s a classic, and we’re avoiding those, but, you know.
SPEAKER 11 :
I know. It’s a classic. Well done. John? A Christmas Carol. Oh, yes. I’m going to go with, and that’s Muppet Christmas Carol.
SPEAKER 09 :
No, no, no.
SPEAKER 11 :
You forgot the word Muppet, but that’s okay. I forgive you. White Christmas. A little Bing Crosby.
SPEAKER 09 :
Oh, yeah. That’s good.
SPEAKER 11 :
Richard, you’re up.
SPEAKER 14 :
Oh, an animated one. This one is a fun one. I think it’s on Amazon Prime. Arthur Christmas, I believe, is what it is. Yep. I enjoyed it. Go ahead, John. It’s a fun one.
SPEAKER 09 :
Let’s do Frosty the Snowman.
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh, yes. But that’s singing. That’s music.
SPEAKER 09 :
Come on, man.
SPEAKER 1 :
1969.
SPEAKER 11 :
My goodness. Okay. I’m going to go Gremlins.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, that’s a good one.
SPEAKER 11 :
It’s terrifying, but it’s good. Okay. Richard, you’re up. Let’s see here. Klaus.
SPEAKER 14 :
Klaus, I think. Klaus. It’s on Netflix.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, that’s a good one, too.
SPEAKER 14 :
That was cute.
SPEAKER 11 :
I like that. Go ahead, John.
SPEAKER 09 :
Really good. Let’s do… Surviving Christmas.
SPEAKER 11 :
Don’t know it, but okay.
SPEAKER 1 :
2004.
SPEAKER 11 :
Here’s one people don’t think about. Die Hard 2. That was a Christmas movie. Go ahead, Richard.
SPEAKER 09 :
Not sure about that one either.
SPEAKER 11 :
Christmas with a Crank.
SPEAKER 09 :
That’s a good one.
SPEAKER 11 :
Now, wait a minute. Die Hard 2 is better than Christmas with the Cranks.
SPEAKER 09 :
Tim Allen, Andy. Tim Allen. Okay. Christmas with the Cranks is pretty good, actually.
SPEAKER 11 :
I like Die Hard 2. Go ahead, John.
SPEAKER 09 :
Let’s do… Well, since we’re deciding some of these are actually Christmas movies, Trading Places.
SPEAKER 11 :
Oh, yeah. That’s a good one. It’s on my list. Let’s go creepy. Edward Scissorhands.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, that one’s creepy.
SPEAKER 11 :
Okay. Richard, you’re up.
SPEAKER 14 :
You know, Andy, this is going to shock you. My wife has never seen It’s a Wonderful Life.
SPEAKER 09 :
She’s not missing it.
SPEAKER 11 :
Good for her.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 14 :
It’s depressing. Tell her to keep it that way.
SPEAKER 11 :
No, it’s perfect for her. She’s a psychologist.
SPEAKER 09 :
No, just leave it alone.
SPEAKER 11 :
I mean, my gosh.
SPEAKER 09 :
Don’t watch that depressing film.
SPEAKER 11 :
She deals with that all the time. It’s not depressing. There’s some good parts to it. Okay, you know what I want your wife to do is to grab an old-fashioned TV, set it on a couch, and let it tell her its problems by playing that movie.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, and Richard said there’s good parts. Yeah, the very beginning, the very end.
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah.
SPEAKER 09 :
Everything else in between.
SPEAKER 11 :
You’re getting started and then you’re ending.
SPEAKER 09 :
Oh, it’s awful.
SPEAKER 11 :
Too depressing. Sorry. Go, John.
SPEAKER 09 :
White Christmas. Did we say that one already?
SPEAKER 11 :
Yeah, I already said that.
SPEAKER 09 :
And we said, how about Holiday Inn?
SPEAKER 11 :
Holiday Inn, another really good one. Okay, I’m going to go with one that goes way back called The Apartment. Trust me, it’s a funny movie. Okay. Richard, you’re up.
SPEAKER 14 :
This is Michael Keaton, Andy. Jack Frost.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah. Oh, that’s a good movie.
SPEAKER 14 :
I enjoyed Jack Frost. That’s a really fun one.
SPEAKER 09 :
I forgot about that one.
SPEAKER 11 :
Go ahead, John.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, that’s really good. Okay, I’m going to do… I’m going to take Home Alone 2 because they’re in New York. It’s still Christmas. Nicely done. In fact, that’s the cameo of Trump. Yes. I want to say.
SPEAKER 11 :
But, John, we’ve gone too far without Arnie. Jingle all the way.
SPEAKER 09 :
All right. Hang on. I’ve got to let you roll because we’re up against a break. Richard, have a good one. All right, guys, see you in a little bit. Let’s do this. All right, Cub Creek Heating and Air Conditioning. Furnace problems, they have solutions. Make an appointment online. Just go to klzradio.com and find them there.
SPEAKER 06 :
New regulations are about to make heating your home a lot more expensive. But Cub Creek Heating and AC can help you get ahead of the changes. Colorado’s new ultra-low NOx rules change the way furnaces and water heaters burn fuel. And once the current inventory is gone, the price to heat, repair, or replace a furnace could jump dramatically. Some estimates say by as much as 60%. These so-called high efficiency units are also more finicky. They require precise installation, they’re more likely to break down if anything is installed incorrectly, and they could add $60 to $100 a month to your heating bill. So if your furnace is getting older, now might be the smartest and most affordable time to replace it and save thousands later. Rheem Certified Pro Partners at Cub Creek don’t upsell. They’re HVAC experts, they’re not salesmen. Let them take a look and give you an honest assessment of whether it makes sense to replace your system proactively. It’s worth a quick call. Reach out to Cub Creek Heating and AC today by visiting the advertisers page on klzradio.com.
