SPEAKER 04 :
Joey Hudson in for Mike today. Glad to have you spending a few minutes of your day with me. And I hope you’ll join me on the Salem News Network. Salem News Channel is expanding. SNC is available live on Roku. You can find us on Amazon. All the streaming sites. Just go to snc.tv, click on Ways to Watch, and you can find all the various streaming platforms that we’re available for. I hope you’ll join me on the Salem News Channel as well. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced this morning in a statement that he is being diagnosed with prostate cancer. In a statement he said, Today my annual medical report was published. Meanwhile, talking about health… There are reports that the supreme leader, the Ayatollah, was injured so badly in the initial attacks between Israel and the U.S. in those first days that killed his father ultimately that he was injured and that he is so disfigured that he’s unrecognizable and is going to have to have extensive surgeries. It even mentioned that he may have to have a prosthetic, which means he obviously lost a, or partially lost a limb. We don’t know if that’s an arm, a leg, or what, but reports are that he’s going to be undergoing medical surgeries to repair multiple injuries, but specifically his face was very badly burned. and that he is unrecognizable. Now, it makes me a little bit suspicious when they’re talking about that he’s unrecognizable and that he’s going to have to have plastic surgery. It makes you kind of pause and think, well, is it really the son of the Ayatollah, or is it someone that this regime wants to be their leader, and so they have burned him so badly that he’s unrecognizable and they’re going to piece him back together, but he’s their guy. He’s who they want to be their leader. And we’d never know the difference. Maybe the Ayatollah’s son was killed along with him and his army generals. And this is someone that the regime has chosen to take control. Now, as you know, he has been out-of-pocket. Very little communication. He did release a statement earlier today, and we’ll get to that in just a minute. But we’re told there’s just a complex way that even the generals communicate with him. And it’s primarily through written communication, and they have various people. delivering the communication back and forth, and they go through this real elaborate scheme so that these people aren’t followed and his whereabouts are not discovered. That’d be a hard way to live, isn’t it? To live in fear that maybe even your own people want to kill you, but certainly Israel and the U.S. and other countries around the world would love to see you taken out as well. You’re never safe. 800-655-6453, the ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran continues as the president has said that he wants to give Iranian officials time to come back to the table and hopefully make a good deal. There’s a lot of chaos, we’re told, among the generals and the leadership that is left in Iran. Nobody seems to really know who’s in charge. And so the people that would ordinarily be negotiating a permanent ceasefire, they’re disagreeing on what that looks like among themselves. So for once, you know, when the president earlier in the week talked about there might be an extension of the ceasefire, my first thought was, well, let’s just finish this. Let’s get it over. But then as he has explained it more over the last couple of days and has explained the chaos that is within Iran, I’m thinking maybe it is the right thing to pause slightly. Because if they can somehow come to consensus among themselves, then the whole world’s better off, right? We’re all better with peace rather than continuing the war. 800-655-6453. Let’s go back to the phones. Let’s start with Ronnie, who is in, is it Texas, Dayton, Texas?
SPEAKER 05 :
Yes. How are you, Ronnie? I’m doing fine. I’d like to talk on the tariff that they charge these other countries.
SPEAKER 04 :
Okay.
SPEAKER 05 :
This is a tax. America… industry pays up to 90% of what they make in taxes. They pay 15% taxes on your wages. If you make $1,000, they’ve got to pay $150 taxes because they hired you. But yet these stupid people don’t want to charge you above the country taxes because prices will go up. They will not go up. They will come down because if they cut the taxes, In America, then the taxes will be coming from those countries, and if they go up above what America sells it for, it won’t sell.
SPEAKER 04 :
Right.
SPEAKER 05 :
So these people need to stop and learn that this is a tax that they’re charging just like we pay.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah. So, Ronnie, you support the president’s tariffs.
SPEAKER 1 :
Yes.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yes.
SPEAKER 04 :
All right. Good to hear. Hey, have a great Friday. Appreciate your phone call. 800-655-6453. Let’s go to Tom, who’s in Atlanta. Welcome, Tom.
SPEAKER 09 :
Hey, Joey. Good to hear you on the mic show today.
SPEAKER 04 :
Thank you, sir. What’s up?
SPEAKER 09 :
So, America 250, what a great year to begin the turnaround, the correction, the true telling of of what’s going on with America’s history and what’s going on with the enemies, the left. Let’s start with the character of Karl Marx and Jean-Philippe Rousseau. These were not role models. These were not nice people. Rousseau gave up all five of his offspring at birth. The midwife took them straight away to an orphanage or churches for others to raise. So starting right there, do I really want to know anything else this person, to be kind, has to say about the affairs of government or mankind? Marx had an illegitimate child with his unpaid maid. Three of his children of seven survived to adulthood. I’m not sure what that was about. But what happened with that unpaid maid’s child who belonged to Marx – Engels, his sidekick in the manifesto, claimed the child was his until he was dying, at which time Engels told the truth. Shortly thereafter, one of the two daughters of Marx who survived to adulthood killed herself. Again, a wonderful role model. Can we start there and then compare and contrast that to our founding father’s who were men of means.
SPEAKER 04 :
Your point’s well taken, Tom. Appreciate your phone call, 800-655-6453. Yeah, I understand what you’re saying there. Back to the Iranian war, U.S. Central Command announced yesterday that a third aircraft carrier has arrived in the Middle East. This came after President Trump extended the ceasefire indefinitely, but We want to be ready. If fighting resumes, it looks as though we’re putting ourselves in a position to be ready to finish off the job. The sitcom posted on X, Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush sails in the Indian Ocean in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility and dated it April 23rd. Former special representative for Iran, Elliott Abrams, on Fox News said that President Trump has been correct to highlight the fractured decision-making in Iran and agreed on pausing and giving them some time to come back to the tables. You know, talking about this aircraft carrier moving into place, we now have, I understand that we have three aircraft carriers within that region. And I happened to see an article about the logistics of keeping those sailors out to sea. Guess how many eggs each aircraft carrier consumes every day? In fact, text me. I want to hear from you. Before I give you the answer, how many eggs does a typical aircraft carrier consume every day? Text that to me on the MyPillow text line, 800-655-6453, 800-655-6453. Sorry, I don’t have a prize or anything for the winner. Or call me. You can call as well. It’s kind of interesting, the whole logistics. And when you hear the number, I think you’re going to be surprised. 800-655-6453. How many eggs are consumed on an aircraft carrier every single day? And I’m going to tell you a little about the logistics of what it takes to keep one of those massive, massive carriers on alert. and within that region ready to respond. I’m Joey Hudson, in for Mike today.
SPEAKER 07 :
She comes down.
SPEAKER 01 :
This sounds crazy, but I found that I can make peach cobbler on my grill. Peaches, brown sugar, butter, oat cinnamon, all inside my MyGrilly basket. Close it up, flip it a few times, your backyard will smell like heaven. Food is juicy inside, perfectly done outside. Toss in veggies, protein, shrimp, steak, even desserts. Imagine raspberries and Nutella. Flip it, roll it, one and done. I love it. The MyGrilly is genius. Perfect for busy families. I originally bought MyGrilly for veggies, but now I’m finding out I can grill everything. Wings, shrimp, fries. I turned my grill into an outdoor oven, 100% stainless steel, and you can toss it into the dishwasher, so no cleanup. Now you don’t need to think about dinner. Matt, the MyGrilly guy, has the recipes ready for you, so you can just throw the grillie on the grill when you get home. Trust me, your grill is about to become your favorite kitchen appliance. Joey Hudson in for Mike today. Let me take just a minute. Mike wanted me to remind you about the Gulf of America cruise coming up in November. It’s November 14th through the 21st. You’ll have the opportunity to spend some time with Mike and Scott Jennings. Just a great, fun time with a lot of like-minded people just like you. I’ve been on these cruises before. They are just a lot of fun. They’re going to cruise the crystal blue waters through incredible ports like Half Moon Cay, Cozumel. You’ll enjoy first-class hospitality on this luxury cruise line, and it is wonderful. It’s the same cruise line that we used for Alaska last year. All week long, you’ll have time with Mike and And Jennifer Horn, Scott Jennings, meet and greet, photo opportunities, question and answer, all that, plus a lot of good food and just be able to see the beauty of the Gulf of America. Call 855-565-5519. 855-565-5519 to book today. You can text the word CRUISE to 94878. 94878. Just text the keyword cruise, and I’ll send you a quick link. You can also find additional information at mikeonline.com. But love to see you on this wonderful cruise in November. It’ll be a great time to be in the Caribbean and just enjoy some of the sun. A lot of you are guessing. How many eggs are served on an aircraft carrier? I don’t know how we got on this topic. It’s just sort of one of those crazy topics. A texter says 15,000. Another texter says 30,000 eggs a day. Another texter, 5,000. Another, 25,000. Another, 10,000. One texter says, I’m guessing, 12,000 eggs per day. Well, you’re pretty close. Actually, as I mentioned, with the addition of the latest aircraft carrier, we now have three carriers in that region. And according to this report that I read yesterday, between those three aircraft carriers, they do consume 12,000 eggs every single day. Sailors aboard aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln serve meals to crew members pretty much around the clock, 24-7. Each aircraft carrier needs about 4,000 eggs every single day, according to a post on X by Central Command. They said the three aircraft carrier strike groups are currently operating in the Middle East. Combined, the sailors and Marines from these units consume 12,000 eggs per day. Now, my first thought was, where do 12,000 eggs a day come from? How do they get them out there? How many can they store at one time? Maybe some of you who have served… on one of these aircraft carriers can tell me that. Give me a quick call, 800-655-6453, or text me or email me, joey at joeyhudson.com. I mean, you know, you see some of these documentaries on, like, cruise ships, and speaking of the Gulf of America cruise, and the massive amounts of supplies that they’re able to carry with them. But, you know, with a cruise ship, it’s kind of easier to understand because they’re at a port most every day. These aircraft carriers are out there literally for weeks and weeks. And I know they don’t have a bunch of chickens on there, do they? Laying the eggs. So where do these eggs come from? How do they keep 12,000 eggs a day on those three carriers out in the Middle East like this? 800-655-6453 for one of you sailors out there who maybe knows the answer. Let’s go back to the phones. Nick is in Phoenix, Arizona. Welcome, Nick.
SPEAKER 08 :
Hey, yeah, I just wanted to make a point that, you know, when we’re talking about Iran, they’ve had ships that have been told that they’re okay to pass through, and then other parts of Iran are then attacking them. And to me, I think the reason why the U.S. is exercising more restraint right now is to possibly understand if a leadership change has occurred and if that person actually has direct authority to make the call. Because right now there seems to still be the breakdown in leadership on who’s actually exercising control over that street.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah, and it’s very volatile over there, Nick, and you’re right. I mean, I think that’s part of it. These shipping companies just don’t want to take the risk that their ship is in the middle of the strait and then one of the madmen in Iran decides they’re going to fire on them because we don’t know who’s really negotiating and if they have the authority and the support of the powers that be in Iran.
SPEAKER 08 :
Right, and it seems like there’s still a large breakdown in their own leadership ranks, and if we are behind any type of regime change, we might want to see if that individual is able to exercise any controls.
SPEAKER 04 :
Exactly, yeah. Good point, Nick. Appreciate your phone call. 800-655-6453, 800-655. Mike, let’s go to Kerry in Minnesota. Welcome, Kerry.
SPEAKER 02 :
Hi, just wanted to say about the marijuana restrictions being lowered. I’ve always kind of been against this marijuana be illegal. I work in retail at a pharmacy and I see a lot of people come in and they smell of marijuana. You can smell it really strong on them. And I feel like people are smoking their marijuana, and then they’re driving in their car, and I don’t think it’s a safe situation.
SPEAKER 04 :
You are so right, Carrie, and that’s why I’m opposed to legalizing marijuana in any form, just for that reason. A U.S. Special Forces soldier is being charged with… betting on something he should not have been betting on, on the capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro. He made over $400,000. The U.S. government says they’re going to take that back. I’m Joey Hudson. In for Mike.
SPEAKER 01 :
You don’t have a weight problem. You’ve got a body that’s in survival mode. No medication, crash diet, or app is going to fix that. Hey, look, the GLP-1 drugs are exploding in popularity, and for some they’re a useful tool, but they don’t address why your body started storing fat in the first place. At PhD Weight Loss, they treat unwanted weight as a symptom, a signal that your metabolism, hormones, and stress response need attention. When those get corrected, the weight comes off naturally and it stays off. They’re not just helping you lose weight. They’re helping you increase health span and extend longevity. I lost 53 pounds on the program and I kept it off. Right now, call PHD Weight Loss. Mention my G. We’ll get you two free weeks in the program and they’ll pay for your food. From the wild world of D.C. politics to America’s culture clash, brace yourself for the reality check you’ve been waiting for. The one and only Mike Gallagher.
SPEAKER 04 :
Joey Hudson in for Mike today on this Friday. Glad to have you. 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453 is how you join the conversation. There’s a lot of breaking news today and some interesting stories. For example, a U.S. Special Forces soldier involved in the military operation that captured Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro has been arrested. The story is he bet on some type of futures betting site that Maduro would be captured, knowing that he was going to be involved in the operation. He bet some $30,000, and when it happened, he won just over $400,000. The federal government says, nope, can’t do it, foul play. They’ve arrested him. Interesting story. We’ll talk about that in just a minute. Is that any different than Nancy Pelosi investing in stocks, knowing that she has information that has come through her office that would lend her to think that a certain stock should be purchased because it’s going to go up because maybe it’s about to get a federal contract? Any difference there? Also, a court… The Fifth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has ruled that Texas can, in fact, post the Ten Commandments in public classrooms. It was a 9-8 decision. The appeals court overruled a lower court decision that had previously banned, I think it was Senate Bill 10 in Texas, that would require the Ten Commandments to be posted in classrooms if those posters were supplied free of charge to the school. We’ll jump into that in another somewhat odd case, too. A Colorado district attorney is charging a federal immigration officer with third-degree assault and criminal mischief in a move that the Department of Homeland Security is saying is unlawful and just a political stunt. It’s one of those typical—and it dates back to October, by the way. It’s one of those typical situations to where you had this protester in the face— and I think it was an ICE officer, and she’s sticking her phone in his face. He bats it away. He just kind of takes her phone and throws it away. I guess her feelings were hurt, and she filed a complaint, and this district attorney is now charging him. Wow. And another interesting story as well today, U.S. Representative Tim Burchett, said during an interview that he believes that there are aliens out there, citing government briefings, pilot testimony, and other evidence that he believes that there is life and that maybe some of these UFO sightings over the years, that it’s not just conspiracy theories, but it’s true. We’ll share that with you as well. And, of course, your phone calls, your comments, your text on the MyPillow text line, 800-655-6453, 800-655-MIKE is how you join the conversation, and I hope you will. Also, one of the things, if you’ve ever listened to me when I filled in for Mike, you know what Friday is. Friday is Free Speech Friday. Free! Whatever’s on your mind, I’m all ears. I’ve got some topics that we’re going to cover, but, of course, I also want to hear what’s on your mind on this Free Speed Friday as well, 800-655-6453. You can also text me directly, joey at joeyhudson.com. So let’s start with in Colorado where this district attorney, is charging a federal immigration officer with third-degree assault and criminal mischief. Eric P. Murray is the district attorney for Colorado’s 6th District. He’s charging U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officer Nicholas Rice with two counts for an incident that occurred during an immigration enforcement activity in Durango, Colorado, back last October, the 27th and 28th. Ann Francesca Staggy told investigators that Mr. Rice knocked her phone out of her hand while she was protesting outside a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Durango. Video of the incident shows Staggy holding her phone in front of a masked immigration agent’s face before the agents grab it. Staggy says that appears to grab the officer’s arm. And his shoulder, as he walks away, at which point he grabs and turns her around. With the help of another agent, they throw her to the ground. If you’re watching this on the Salem News Channel, you can see the B-roll that we’re playing there. You can see this unfold. And it’s just a typical ICE operation, something that we’ve seen over and over again. This past year, two years. She gets in the guy’s face. And when you do that, when you put your hands on a federal officer, when you grab their arm, when you put your hand on their shoulder, you are interfering with a police operation. You’re opening yourself up. She’s lucky that it was just her phone thrown away and herself thrown to the ground. This is how some of the fatal incidents have happened in Minneapolis last year when things got out of hand and the young lady tried to run the ICE agent over with her car. It didn’t end too well for her. You can’t interfere… with police officers at any level, local police, sheriff’s deputies, ICE officers. You can’t interfere. You may not agree with what they’re doing. You may think they’re totally wrong. But when you put yourself between them and their operation, you’re putting yourself at risk. Now, again, the Department of Homeland Security is calling it unlawful. and calling it just a political stunt. I want to play this for you, because I want you to hear the crowd. This is cut number one. I want you to hear the crowd as these officers are walking away.
SPEAKER 1 :
Let her go!
SPEAKER 07 :
Let her go! Let her go! Let her go! Someone call the police. What’s your name?
SPEAKER 04 :
I mean, you hear them yelling, what’s your name, as if he has some obligation to tell them who he is. You hear them, those crazy whistles that they started using last year. I mean, it’s just utter chaos. And she’s upset now because she was thrown to the ground and her phone was knocked out of her hand because she was trying to interfere with this operation. 800-655-6453, 800-655-MIKE. Should this officer be charged? Or do you agree with the DHS that this is just a political stunt by some liberal district attorney? Love to get your comments. You can email me directly, joey at joeyhudson.com. Send me a quick note on the MyPillow text line. Always use promo code MikeG when you go to MyPillow.com, and you’ll get the very best price Mike Lindell has to offer on a lot of great products. I’m Joey Hudson. In for Mike on this free speech Friday.
SPEAKER 11 :
Here’s something most people don’t know. When Warren Buffett was just 13 years old, he didn’t put his money into a savings account. While other kids were earning next to nothing at local banks, Buffett put $114 into a little-known investment. Today, that $114 would be worth over $15 million. And it wasn’t a risky trade. It wasn’t even insider knowledge. It was an account that’s been around since 1888, and over the last 25 years, it’s averaged 29% a year. That’s what happens when your money is allowed to compound. Compare that to today’s savings accounts, paying less than half a percent while inflation quietly eats away at your buying power. Buffett understood early, banks are great businesses, just not for savers. If you’d like to see what some investors call the 29% account, go now to secretaccount29.com. That’s secretaccount29.com.
SPEAKER 03 :

It’s Free Speech Friday, 800-655-MIKE, 800-655-6453. Of course, your messages on the MyPillow text line are welcome as well. Email is joeyhudson.com. Let’s go to the phones. David is in Columbus, Ohio. Welcome. You’re on the Mike Gallagher Show.
SPEAKER 10 :
Hey, Alex. Hi, Joey. Thanks for taking my call. I always enjoy it when you’re on.
SPEAKER 07 :
Thank you.
SPEAKER 10 :
I’m a retired police officer here from Columbus, and I hired on in 91. I hit the streets in 92. So that was right when the Rodney King L.A. riots kind of spread across the country. And over the years, there was always this buffer zone between the officers and the protesters, and they even knew that. Because if you got within arm’s reach of an officer, you were usually pulled through the line and then arrested. This younger entitlement, and especially with all the rhetoric from the left, has given them the mentality that they’re not even officers that they’re dealing with, and that they can get right in someone’s face. You know, if this lady’s holding a phone, that close to an officer, it could be a knife just as easily. And that’s why we always have that buffer zone that when they got close, they were taken through the line and arrested. And I think that’s where it needs to go back to.
SPEAKER 04 :
Yeah. Well, you know, David, there are some states, and in my beloved South Carolina, the Palmetto State, our legislature just passed what is called a HALO Act, which codifies that you have to be, and I think in our case it’s 15 feet. You cannot, if officers ask you to stand back, you have to be… within at least 15 feet away from them, or they can arrest you on the spot. And we’re just seeing some of this idiocy with these protests over this past year. But she took it a step further. I mean, I understand one thing, holding your phone up, videotaping it, there’s nothing wrong with that, but when you’re right in their face, but she touched this officer. She put her hand on his arm, on his shoulder, and that’s just taking it too far, so she got what she deserves.
SPEAKER 11 :
Exactly. Exactly right. I agree with you 100%.
SPEAKER 04 :
Appreciate your phone call. Thanks for listening in Columbus, Ohio. 800-655-6453. One line open. I mean, it’s just nuts. And a texter says if they charge the officer, it’s just giving others permission to do the same thing or worse. Another texter on the MyPillow text line says that woman should be charged with obstructing a federal agent. He should not be charged. This is just some radical district attorney who’s trying to make a political statement. That’s what DHS is saying, and they’re right. I don’t think it’s going anywhere, but this officer, this ICE agent, should not be put through this. With the job that they have to do every day to keep our community safe, and then they have to deal with stuff like this? Dwayne is in Jacksonville. Welcome, Dwayne. You’re on the Mike Gallagher Show.
SPEAKER 06 :
Hey, Joey, thank you for taking my call. It’s just very frustrating to see these ICE agents and that have to deal with this. And what really frustrates me is I want to see action taken because a lot of these demonstrators are probably not even local. They’re probably bused in. They’re supported. They’re well-trained to make it more difficult for ICE agents. And like I said, it just frustrates me. And I’m hoping that our federal government, our administration, is looking into this stuff and finding out where the money is financing these demonstrators because, again, it won’t be long when we’re going to get another fatality. Somebody’s going to cross that line and somebody’s going to get hurt or killed and like i says i it’s very frustrating for me and i take sympathy for our federal agents all the crap that they have to go through my neighbor next door is an ice agent he’s a our u.s marshal and i tell him all the time i praise him all the stuff that they have to put up with it’s just ridiculous
SPEAKER 04 :
It is crazy. I mean, they’re out there, again, trying to keep you and me safe, our community safe, and then they have to put up with this type of thing. I mean, again, if you watch the video on the Salem News Channel, you’ve got this mob surrounding, I think there were two agents total, maybe three, surrounding these guys, yelling at them, whistling at them, demanding to know their name. You know, suddenly the left is opposed to masks. Now, during COVID, they wanted you and me to wear a mask, but now suddenly they think masks are wrong when ICE agents are doing it simply to protect their identity and to protect their families because all these people want is to dox them. I mean, they want to take photos of these officers and then post them everywhere and put their lives at risk. It’s just not right. And for this DA to fall for this and to be charging this officer, he’s got it backwards.
SPEAKER 06 :
Yep, I agree.
SPEAKER 04 :
Appreciate your phone call. Thanks for listening in Jacksonville, Florida, 800-655-6453. I’m Joey Hudson in for Mike today.
