In this episode, John Rush delves into the complexities surrounding the Supreme Court’s intervention in California’s controversial policy on parental notification for student gender transitions. Joined by Alvin Louis, the discussion pivots towards the implications of this decision and emphasizes the essential role parents must play to harness this judicial ruling effectively. Louis introduces a comprehensive toolkit aimed at empowering parents to actively engage with and hold educational institutions accountable.
SPEAKER 13 :
This is Rush to Reason.
SPEAKER 03 :
You are going to shut your damn yapper and listen for a change because I got you pegged, sweetheart. You want to take the easy way out because you’re scared. And you’re scared because if you try and fail, there’s only you to blame. Let me break this down for you. Life is scary. Get used to it. There are no magical fixes.
SPEAKER 11 :
With your host, John Rush.
SPEAKER 08 :
My advice to you is to do what your parents did!
SPEAKER 11 :
Get a job, Turk! You haven’t made everybody equal. You’ve made them the same, and there’s a big difference.
SPEAKER 01 :
Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know, you can’t explain. But you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life. That there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there. It is this feeling that has brought you to me.
SPEAKER 05 :
Are you crazy? Am I? Or am I so sane that you just blew your mind?
SPEAKER 13 :
It’s Rush to Reason with your host, John Rush, presented by Cub Creek Heating and Air Conditioning.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay, our number two, Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Alvin Louis joining us. Welcome back, Alvin. How are you?
SPEAKER 15 :
I’m doing great. Thank you for having me back, sir.
SPEAKER 09 :
I appreciate it. This week, and we haven’t talked a lot about it, mainly because it’s been a little bit overshadowed by what’s happening in Iran, although it is big news and something that I wanted to make sure we highlighted, and that’s the Supreme Court blocking the California ban on notifying students’ parents about their gender transitions.
SPEAKER 15 :
Absolutely, it is. It’s a huge gift. And I say it’s a gift more like it’s like a sword and a shield, but it doesn’t really mean anything unless parents use it. And that’s one of those things where when people read the headlines, I would say the majority of people go, oh, it’s good, we’ve won, the schools can’t do it anymore, yay. No, that’s not true. That’s how most people look at it.
SPEAKER 09 :
It’s not that they’re not going to do it, it’s you’ve got to make sure that they aren’t doing it.
SPEAKER 15 :
Yes, and also the case was about two teachers where they cannot force the teachers to keep the secrets. They were fired for not wanting to keep the transgender secrets. And so a lot of the headlines around it is a little bit misleading. It’s a huge case. It’s an injunction. And it’s a huge step in the right direction, but it’s only a step. And so what we’ve done… is we’ve made a toolkit on courageisahabit.org. If you go to courageisahabit.org, it’s right on the front page. It’s a tool of the week. If you’re probably listening to this a couple weeks from now, you’ll be under tools. And it’s a toolkit called the cease and desist. And it’s a PDF. We teach you how to use it. And it is meant for every parent. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never spoken in front of a school board. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never emailed or dropped a letter off. It doesn’t even matter if you don’t even know what a school board is. It is created for volume. for maximum offense for as many parents as possible because we don’t need five or six parents. We need 500, 600, 1,000 parents using it, and that’s how you hold the schools responsible.
SPEAKER 09 :
I agree. I agree. I think you’re bringing up a great point, too, and it’s one that I don’t think many on our side are even taking this angle that, okay, yeah, it’s a huge win. It’s a huge gift that’s been given to us. How are we going to use the gift that’s now been given?
SPEAKER 15 :
Exactly. Exactly. The way I look, this is basically they brought us to the red zone, but you got to score.
SPEAKER 09 :
That’s right.
SPEAKER 15 :
And what happens is the school counselors are trained for this exact moment.
SPEAKER 08 :
Good point.
SPEAKER 15 :
They will ignore this because they’ve been trained to keep the child safe. Right, that’s right.
SPEAKER 09 :
Really quick, Alvin, meaning they’ve already known what the key words are, what they tell the child, on and on we go. I mean, to your point, they’re still going to be on the offense. I mean, we’re playing defense, and we’ve been given a fabulous, I guess you could say, In some ways, the roles have been reversed and we’re on the offense now, providing we can actually move the ball forward and get it across the goal line, like you said a moment ago. But trust me, the opposition, they’re in the red zone as well. And we all know what it’s like playing football in the red zone. It’s really hard to score in the red zone because the defense gets really, really tough at that time because the field shortens up and so on. And in a lot of ways, they have an advantage that way. Alvin, it’s no different what you’re talking about.
SPEAKER 15 :
Absolutely. That’s exactly right. And remember, the transgender ideology they pushed on your child doesn’t automatically disappear because the Supreme Court makes a ruling. The transgender cultists, mostly the school counselors and these lunatic teachers, they’re not going to go, well, folks, it looks like we gave it the old college try. Let’s go ahead and pack up the trans flag.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, no.
SPEAKER 15 :
No, not at all. Pack up the books and let’s go home. We did it. We tried. We tried. They’re not going to do that. They’re going to say, we’ve got to keep the child safe. This is our mission. Remember, they’re missionaries.
SPEAKER 09 :
True. We talked about that on your wonderful show. That’s right.
SPEAKER 15 :
This is their moment to be missionaries. And so parents, the thing about the conservative movement is a lot of good people are very quick to go, can we go home yet? Are we done yet?
SPEAKER 09 :
We’re never done.
SPEAKER 15 :
Whereas our enemies, they don’t ever say, can we go home? They say, what’s next?
SPEAKER 09 :
That’s exactly right. We should be doing the same thing. That’s exactly right. The difference, Alvin, and I get this, and by the way, I’m not being critical of anybody out there on our side, please. I know Alvin is neither. We’re not being critical because, Alvin, we’re typically of the mindset of, okay, we’re done. You do you. I’ll do me. At the end of the day, it’s all good, and I’m not going to get into your business. You don’t get into mine, and life will be happy, and we’ll go on to the next thing. So now that this particular agenda item is out of the way, okay, great. We’re going to go back to living our normal lives like we all should do, and off we go. To your point, though— The other side has, oh, no, no, wait a minute. We might have ticked off one thing on the mission sheet, but there’s 15 more.
SPEAKER 15 :
Well, what you said there, John, you know, it works if both people agree.
SPEAKER 09 :
That’s right. You do you, I do me.
SPEAKER 15 :
That’s right. Now, I’ll move on to do what I’m doing. You move on. Now, if you go, Alvin, shake my hand and say, I agree. That’s fine. But if I go, John, I will do you, I will do me, you do you, I’m going to go over here, and I’m going to mind my own business, and you go, no. I’m going to mind my business, and I’m going to mind your business, and your children are my business. Now we don’t have an agreement. That is not a handshake. That’s right.
SPEAKER 09 :
That’s right. You’re 100%. And that’s what you just said, what you just explained, and what I try to talk about here on a really almost daily basis, Alvin, is exactly what you’re talking about. The other side. never looks at it as you do you. It is all about control. We call it force versus freedom. The reality is we believe in freedom, you do you, but the other side doesn’t. The other side wants to force everything on you. I mean, I just talked in the last hour about being healthy and smoking and vaping and so on, and I’m of the type, Alvin, if you choose to smoke, be my guest. And the way a conservative would say it is, you know what, you do you. If you want to smoke, smoke. I mean, I don’t want it affecting me, so don’t blow it on me, but at the end of the day, if you want to smoke, then smoke. But what a left-wing What a lefty would say is, Alvin, I don’t want you smoking, so I’m going to outlaw smoking.
SPEAKER 15 :
Well, what they say is, I’m going to outlaw smoking, but then if you smoke, you’re a Nazi.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, you’re right. Let’s add one more thing to it. You’re correct. Yes, yes, yes, yes.
SPEAKER 15 :
Emotional blackmail. So if I say, you know what, if you want to trans your own child, I mean, I don’t recommend it. That’s probably not great for your lineage, but go ahead. Go ahead and take your 13, 14-year-old daughter, have her healthy breast cut off. That’s something you’re going to have to deal with. She’s going to look at you and go, why did you do that? I don’t agree, but you go ahead. And they go, okay, Alvin, I’m going to do it. I’ll be like, all right, I’ll see you in five, six years. But they go, no, I want to do it to your daughter. And if you don’t agree and you’re unsafe, I’m going to take your daughter and I’m going to put her there and I’m going to make her believe she’s a boy. Those are the rules that communists play by. And when you see a case like this, we cannot have the mindset of we’ve won. Thank God President Trump’s fixing it. No. Thank God the Supreme Court saved us. No, it is our responsibility as parents, and the government K-12 are trained to bypass these type of, very type of cases and these type of laws. Great point. So parents must, at scale, push the aggressive offense, and that’s what the Supreme Court gave us, but you’ve got to pick up the shield. That’s right.
SPEAKER 09 :
Well said. Alvin, how do folks get a hold of you at Courage is a Habit?
SPEAKER 15 :
Please visit us at CourageIsAHabit.org. That’s where our toolkit is for this particular case. We have a whole catalog of tools, tactics for parents to make it easy because we know how it is very difficult for parents. Lots to do, very busy. And then our socials are at CourageHabit.org. And as always, John, I so appreciate you having me on your show. We are a nonprofit, so every support helps, and I appreciate you so much.
SPEAKER 09 :
Well, we appreciate you. It’s always great. I enjoy it very much, and keep up the good work, Alvin. Thank you very much. We sure will. All right, man. Have a good night. And real quick, along those lines, this is something I wanted to just throw out before we go to break, because I’m going to shift gears when we come back. Those of you whereby you may be having discussions with others that don’t think like we do, which happens periodically. In my world, it happens a lot, actually, because I meet all sorts of different people from all sorts of walks of life, and you want to try to get across to them the differences in how we look at different types of subjects. And one of the things that I have found is by just asking a few simple questions—for example, The analogy that Alvin and I just went through, you know, I don’t smoke, don’t want to smoke. But you know what? If you want to, I don’t think smoking should be outlawed. I don’t think we should outlaw the sale of cigarettes. In fact, I’m not even one. I’ll go as far as to tell you this. I don’t even believe in the syntax we put on cigarettes. I’m that guy. I think it’s ridiculous because, again, it’s another tax that funds other things. It becomes fungible. It really raises taxes at the end of the day. It’s not helping what it was designed to. And I’m not for syntaxes. So I’ll go even as far as to say that not only do I not want cigarettes banned, and some of you say, geez, John, you’re supposed to be a Christian. You’re supposed to be this. You’re supposed to be that. Why would you want anybody smoking knowing how bad it is? Because people are going to do things anyways. And I don’t believe in outlawing something to now make it illegal because at the end of the day, in some cases, it’ll actually make it worse. And I believe that wholeheartedly. It’s why I have a whole different view on this whole prostitution bill that’s being run through the statehouse right now. And some of you will definitely disagree with me on that. But I don’t believe outlawing things fixes it. It’s why I don’t believe in outlawing cigarettes. So the way I would approach someone in the conversation Alvin and I were just having, no matter what type of a topic we’re talking about with somebody that has another viewpoint on the other side of the aisle would be, let’s use smoking as an example. I don’t believe in smoking. I don’t smoke. But you know what? You can do whatever you want to. And I would even go as far as to say I don’t even believe in the syntax that we do on smoking. So what’s your view? And typically out of the left, you’re going to get all sorts of conversation about smoking. And is it right? Is it wrong? What should people do? And so on and so forth. And then the thing I would throw out is, so was it the right or the left that outlawed smoking in restaurants or smoking on airplanes or smoking in office buildings or even some cities smoking outdoors? Because I’ll tell you right now, that wasn’t pushed by the conservative movement. So there’s a really easy conversation right there to have on the force versus freedom, whereby we believe in you do you, and the other side can be just fine. Now, the other side doesn’t look at it that way. The other side, though, looks at it as Alvin just said, not only am I going to control what you do, but if you don’t do it, I want you to do your Nazi. So that was a great example a moment ago of how you can have a nice, gentle, normal conversation when it comes to those sorts of things and just see how the other side responds. Golden Eagle Financial coming up next. Listen to Al. He did a great interview of late. And if you need Al to help you with any of your financial planning for the future, talk to Al today. Find him at klzradio.com.
SPEAKER 07 :
T.J. here again with Al Smith of Golden Eagle Financial. Al, I’ve talked to retirement advisors before, and I don’t hear a lot of them talking about passive income, but I hear that in a lot of other spaces. So can you tell us a little bit about that and how that applies to retirement?
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, yes. And those aren’t necessarily things that I do myself personally, but many of my clients own real estate. And if they’re careful with how they vet their tenants, they’ll have a nice stream of income coming in. I’ve also met people who have investments in oil and gas, which generate a nice stream of income. I even know someone who has a rather expensive camper trailer that he will lease out to other people who want to go on a camping trip.
SPEAKER 07 :
So it seems like kind of the sky’s the limit for those kind of things. And how do you help guide folks through that? Or how does that apply to the different products and services that you give to folks?
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, I certainly don’t discourage it. But what’s nice about it is these are things you can invest in. And they’re totally separate from your IRA and the plan that your employer has, your 401k. These are things that you can do. completely independently of retirement plans through your work. And depending on how those are treated tax-wise, they can be a real enhancement to the other sources of income in retirement, your Social Security, pension, 401k, things like that.
SPEAKER 07 :
And that’s one of the things that we really love about Al Smith and Golden Eagle Financial is they get relational, and Al takes the entire picture into consideration. Al, tell folks how to get in touch with you if they want to schedule an appointment with you.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, you can reach me at 303-744-1128. And if you’re driving, get in touch with KLZ, and they will put you in touch with me.
SPEAKER 07 :
And as always, you can find Al on klzradio.com slash money. Al, thanks.
SPEAKER 04 :
Well, you’re welcome. Thank you, TJ.
SPEAKER 10 :
Putting reason into your afternoon drive. This is John Rush.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay, we’re back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Thanks for listening. Okay, this is something that I spent a little bit of time this morning researching, and I wouldn’t have got this had I not done something. Some of you may already know some of what I’m going to say, but some of you may not. And there’s a lot more here than what… How should I say this? There’s a lot more here than meets the eye. And you’re going to hear, by the way, when it comes to Trump and Iran and all that’s going on, Elizabeth Warren and so on of the world, he doesn’t know what he’s doing. He has no idea what’s going on. He has no end goal, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, which, by the way. Total Democrat rhetoric. Elizabeth Warren doesn’t know her head from a hole in the ground. I mean that sincerely. She is as dumb as a rock, literally. I mean, talk to her about anything economically speaking, and I’m not sure she knows what two plus two is. I mean, it’s just ridiculous. These people are off their rockers. So let me explain some of what’s gone on this week, just some, when it comes to Iran. And most people don’t know this because the press, the regular mainstream press is not going to tell you these things. And at first I thought, is this really true? Is this a conspiracy theory or is this really what’s going on? So let’s start with what Trump is really doing in the Middle East. It’s going to be a complete shakeup. Let me just tell you that right now. There is an indefinite end goal in play because when this is all said and done, the Middle East will not look like it does right now. It’s going to be completely different. Trust me when I say that. Iran will have different leadership. Trump’s been very clear that if it’s not leadership that’s going the direction that we want things to head, we’ll make sure that there is. In other words, we’re not going back to the Ayatollah. It’s not going to be the Ayatollah’s son and somebody that thinks the way they do and so on. That’s not going to happen. The other thing that’s happened this week in regards to the shakeup is Lloyds of London, they decided early on that they were no longer going to insure ships going through the Strait of Hormuz. They were going to discontinue insurance. And keep in mind, Lloyd’s of London, which I kind of knew this, but I’ve never studied a lot about Lloyd’s of London, but it’s huge. UK, been there forever, 100 plus years, probably 200 years. They’ve been insuring maritime things for a very, very, very long time. And at the end of the day, they decided we’re no longer going to insure these ships going through the Strait of Hormuz. So guess what Trump did? We will. The U.S. will. And the Navy will even escort ships through if need be. So we’re going to still have oil rolling through there. We’ll insure the ships if we have to. We’ll make sure there’s escorts if needed. And you know what? Lloyd’s of London, here’s the middle finger. That’s literally what he did. And basically had a conference with two or three individuals where he was sitting down and essentially said that. We don’t need you guys. We don’t need you, Britain. In fact, you guys have been worthless when it comes to this war effort in Iran, Spain. You’re spineless, Spain. At the end of the day, we don’t need any of you. And we’re going to move things forward regardless of what you guys do or don’t do. It’s a reshaping of what’s happened in that area forever. Keep in mind, Great Britain especially, the UK, they have used Iran to do a lot of their proxy things, I guess you could say, for a very, very long time. And that’s ending. And really what’s happening right now is Donald Trump is telling UK to basically, bye guys, see you, we don’t need you anymore. I’m going to talk to Scott Garlis about that at 530 because this is a huge shakeup and it’s going to affect trade and all sorts of things. But I’m here to tell you that we’re going to come out on top. Trump’s even criticizing them over green energy, all sorts of other things at the same time. Bottom line, the Middle East is not going to look like it does or like it did prior by the time Trump is all done. And I think that’s probably the thing that the Elizabeth Warrens in the left really hate the most is because they just soon have it be status quo the way it was because they don’t care about funding. or they want to fund terrorism. Let me say it that way. I’m going to be 100% honest. They want to continue to fund terrorism. Matt, go ahead, sir.
SPEAKER 05 :
Oh, sorry. Caught me off guard.
SPEAKER 09 :
You’re all right.
SPEAKER 05 :
Go ahead, Matt. Yeah, I was listening when you were talking to John about smoking.
SPEAKER 09 :
Yes, go ahead.
SPEAKER 05 :
Okay, all right. I just want to let you know I’ve been a waiter. I’m 63 years old. I’ve been a waiter for 100 years. And you know what section you want to work in if you’re a waiter?
SPEAKER 09 :
The smoking section?
SPEAKER 05 :
Of course.
SPEAKER 09 :
And why is that?
SPEAKER 05 :
Well, I’ll tell you. Because those people smoke and drink.
SPEAKER 09 :
Oh, okay.
SPEAKER 05 :
And then their tab goes up accordingly.
SPEAKER 09 :
Okay. Yeah, that would make sense.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah. I mean, I don’t have any… I don’t care if you smoke or if you don’t smoke. Me neither. I don’t like anybody… I don’t like anybody telling me what I can and can’t do, but it just cracked me up when you were talking about it, and I was like, damn, this is actually something I’ve actually experienced.
SPEAKER 09 :
I’m glad you called in and said that. I had never thought about the section, the tips and so on in that particular section. Matt, I never would have put two and two together on that. That makes total sense.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah. If you have a smoking section, the people drink more when they smoke.
SPEAKER 09 :
Great point.
SPEAKER 05 :
You can remember. I have no idea how old you are.
SPEAKER 1 :
61.
SPEAKER 05 :
Oh, so I’m older than you. But remember back in the day when you would fly and there was a smoking section and not a smoking section?
SPEAKER 09 :
Oh, yes. I sure do.
SPEAKER 05 :
And the only thing between you was a curtain?
SPEAKER 09 :
Yeah, you know what? I forgot about the curtain. You just reminded me of that, Matt. I totally forgot about the curtain.
SPEAKER 05 :
Yeah, I know. It’s like, well, now you’re… Yeah, now it’s impervious.
SPEAKER 09 :
That smoke’s not rolling through that curtain. Never.
SPEAKER 05 :
Nope. There’s no way there’s any smoke coming through that.
SPEAKER 09 :
That’s hilarious. I forgot all about that, Matt.
SPEAKER 05 :
No, I was just listening, and I was like, okay, first time I’ve ever called a radio show. I just had to give you a call.
SPEAKER 09 :
Well, I’m glad you did, Matt. I appreciate you calling in. I appreciate you listening, and you’re in good company. I appreciate that very much, Matt.
SPEAKER 05 :
Thank you very much.
SPEAKER 09 :
You betcha, man. Have a great night. And first time he’s ever called a radio show, thank you, Matt. I appreciate that greatly. I forgot about the little curtain. that was going to keep smoke from one section to the other. And people would actually pass through the curtain, you know, the stewardesses and folks going to the bathroom or whatever, they’d pass through back and forth. It was absolutely hilarious. Anyways, really quick before we go to break, going back to what Trump’s doing with Iran and even what’s happening in regards to trade and oil in the U.K. and Spain and others. I mean, right now, I can just tell you this right now, Trump is not happy with the U.K., period. I think Germany’s doing okay because they’re essentially coming out on Trump’s side and basically saying, yep, you’re right, and yep, we’re on your side, and yes, we’re going to follow through, and so on and so forth. But there’s other countries over there whereby Trump’s basically telling them, you know what? You guys, if you don’t get with the program, you’re not going to be around. We’re not going to worry about it. We don’t need you, essentially, is the message that he’s sending to them. And he already told Besant to cut off all trade with Spain because of what they did this past week, not allowing us to do landings, take off and land in their country, military bases there, which is a bunch of garbage, by the way. I didn’t talk about that early in the week because it had me all fired up. I mean, in my opinion, I wouldn’t give them another red cent. And if you’re an American wanting to travel there, I wouldn’t. I would not go there just for that reason alone. I don’t care how pretty or unpretty or whatever the country is, I wouldn’t go there. Just to prove a point. A bunch of nonsense. But this goes back to the whole story, and it’s true, and most people don’t realize it, but the UK and a lot of the folks in that European Union have literally been profiting off of Iran, and they don’t want to lose that. So they’re losing it. It’s going to go away. Iran is going to look completely different when this is all said and done. And it’s not going to take very long. You know, there’s people out there, you know, again, Elizabeth Warren’s and others that are talking about this is never going to end. It’s going to be an ongoing war. That’s the mantra from the left right now. This will be another ongoing war that Trump just got us into. A never-ending war Trump got us into. It’s not true, folks. You heard Bob and I talk about it on the podcast, Neil as well. If this thing lasts 30, 40 days, I’ll be surprised. Now, there’ll be some cleanup and some ongoing things that happen after that just to keep the peace, but you’re not going to see this day-to-day stuff that we’ve got going on right now. And there are a ton of naysayers out there talking about how bad the war is, it’s going to be bad for America, this, that, and the other. Nothing could be farther from the truth. We will have more stable oil prices when this is all said and done than we’ve ever had. Reason being, all of the other oil-producing nations don’t want what’s going on, and they don’t want Iran having control over that strait. They would love to have that ended. The problem is, until this happened, they couldn’t go to Iran and tell them anything because, again, they’re that angry little cousin that right now they want to see eliminated. You know, the cutters of the world, the Saudi Arabies of the world, a lot of those other countries that are over there, you know, they want to see those guys go away because, frankly, they just want to sell oil and make money, oil and natural gas and make money. That’s all they want to do. And when this is all said and done, that’s what they’re going to do. One more thing. I might talk about this when we come back. is all of the biblical prophecy that was floating around. I didn’t say that right. A lot of the people quoting biblical prophecy before all of this, I have not heard a peep out of them since this war started, which I find very interesting. I’m going to talk about that here in a minute when I come back. So don’t go anywhere. Plumberoos, coming up next. If you’re looking for a plumber of old, that’s what they do. Honesty, integrity. Michael Bailey, he’s our mobile estate planner. Make sure your estate is in order today. Talk to Michael. Find him at klzradio.com.
SPEAKER 07 :
With mobile estate planner Michael Bailey, you won’t have to rely on luck in your estate plan. Hey, maybe you’ll luck out and use up all your assets the day you die, or maybe you’ll find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. But that doesn’t seem like a solid plan. If you’re like most people, you don’t want to rely on luck when your family’s future is on the line. Some people assume it’s all going to their spouse, and maybe that’s true, but what if you have kids from another marriage? What happens to those sentimental things? SPEAKER 09 :
All right, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. And this wasn’t in my notes, but just came to my mind a moment ago as I was talking about things happening with Iran and the oil situation, the Straits of Hormuz. I did get a text message in. Somebody said they’re worried about where oil prices are headed. They’re up right now, no doubt about it. And by the way, that’s not because we in – We in America here rely on so little of imported oil that it’s really ridiculous that prices here are doing what they’re doing. But that’s a conversation. I’ll have that with Scott at 530, Scott Garlis. But at the end of the day, oil does what oil does. Traders do what traders do. That’s probably the best way to say it. And I’ll get a better explanation from Scott on that at 530. But again, traders do what traders do. And at the end of the day, though, you’re going to see prices go up just because of the turmoil that’s there. In turn, though, in turn, you’re going to see them come back down. And it might take a month or two. Well, let me say it this way. When When things settle down and they see oil flowing through the straits, it’s going to come back down. That’ll be the key as to when it comes back down. So those of you that are worried about where the prices are right now, I understand. I get that. It won’t be that way forever. If it stays this way 30 days or so, that might be about it. As soon as they see that oil is not being disrupted and things are flowing, and by the way, not the oil coming out of Iran because that’s been embargoed for a long time anyway, so that has no effect on anything, very little. I get it. Oil is fungible, but they don’t produce a whole lot anyways. And Russia and China are more worried about that than anyone. So once you see this stuff settle down, prices will settle down as well. Now, with all that being said, And I’m amazed that I haven’t seen any of the, what I call, biblical prophets that come out with all of their doomsday predictions as to, you know, Christ is going to come now and this is going to happen then. And I did see a few things with the blood moon that was, I think it was Monday night or Tuesday night. I can’t remember what night it was. Was it Monday night, Charlie, that was a blood moon? I can’t remember. I think it was Monday night. And there was a few, you know, biblical, you know. I guess you could say I use that term loosely because they’re not, but they think they are talking about it and biblical times and so on. It’s always amazing that when something like what’s happening right now with Trump dismantling Iran, where are all these biblical prophets right now that, you know, preach doom and gloom, doom and gloom all of the time? The world’s going to end tomorrow. Where are they? I haven’t heard – honestly, on social media and other places, I haven’t heard hardly a peep from those particular individuals with what’s going on right now. And I thought you would. I thought you’d hear some things. But here’s why you’re not. This sort of goes against everything that they always talk about with what’s going to happen with the end of the world, globalization, you know, the mark of the beast, blah, blah, blah. This basically dismantles all of that. It kills it. Donald Trump, in essence, is killing off a lot of that. Now, is he going to bring peace to the Middle East? I don’t know if peace is the right word, but will he stabilize things in the Middle East? Yes, he will. Will it be peaceful? Probably not. But will he stabilize things? Yes, he will. Now, is that going to change things on the globalization front and so on? It already is, folks. It already has. Anytime you stop the globalization effort, you’re stopping the whole one world government and into the end times and so on. You’re stopping that because you have to have that to have the end times according to biblical prophecy. I’m not going to get into all the details of that and why and why I believe that and so on. But if you end globalism, you end that. So in essence, a lot of what Trump is doing in the UK and with Iran and the UK, I should say at the same time, back to my previous conversation a moment ago, the UK wants globalism, by the way. They have been big on that for a long time. So anytime Donald Trump comes along and starts to shut that down, they’re mad. They don’t like that. They want the other. They want globalization. They’re not going to get it, but that’s what they want. And, again, those of you that are really into the whole, you know, biblical prophecy end of things, which I’m not, never have been, mainly because I’m a pan theory guy. It all pans out in the end. I don’t have any theories on what’s going to happen. I don’t care. Because at the end of the day, you can’t control it anyway, so why bother? It’s sort of like I’ve gotten a few text messages and some things from folks, and even Neil was talking about in the podcast about some of the potential sleeper cells that might be out there, awakening them with what’s going on in Iran. Am I going to lose any sleep over that? No. I’m going to talk about that tomorrow with Bill on Ready Radio. Am I worried about that? No, I am not. Not in the least. Do I think there’s going to be some? I don’t know. Maybe. Highly doubt it, to be honest with you. Again, I’m just not concerned with that like a lot of people are. It doesn’t mean that I’m not watching what I’m doing and where I’m going and who’s around me and my situational awareness and so on. No, that’s all up. I’m good with all that. But am I doing anything differently today than I did yesterday? No. Or the day before? No. Or Saturday before the war started? No. No, I’m not doing anything different. And I’m not going to sit around and, you know, hopefully or, you know, wait for something to happen, hoping that it doesn’t, you know, go crawl in a cave or a hole someplace. I’m going to live life. Just like I told Neil on the podcast, I’m going to live life. I’m not going to let that affect me one way or the other. No different than what I do here working on radio and doing some of the things that I do and some of the vulnerabilities that might be there because there’s a lot of wackadoodles out there. But I’m not going to change what I do or change my position on things just because I’m worried about some wackadoodle when I walk out of the building. And there’s plenty of them out there. I’m not worried about it. The way I’ve always looked at it is if it’s my time to go, it’s my time to go. You know, does it mean I’m going to walk in front of a moving bus? Of course not. I’m going to be still careful and watch what’s going on and, you know, have my head on a swivel and be careful and so on. But am I going to lose any sleep over what’s going on right now? No, I’m not. Not. So anyways, at the end of the day, yes, there’s going to be a big shift in what’s happening in the Middle East. I read something this morning or watched something this morning that… was talking about how things will look afterwards, and it’s not going to be the same Middle East. So I’m not the only one saying that. I think there’s a lot of experts out there that are going to say the same thing. Not folks from the left, by the way. I think these are folks that are either right down the middle or are conservative-leaning, and they’re looking at this saying, yeah, it’s just not going to be the same Middle East at all. Now, what’s probably upsetting the most to the— libertarians even, the Candace Owens of the world, the Tucker Carlsons, the Megyn Kellys now, it’s even going to look different for Israel. And they’re going to get a boost. And this will be good for them. And if you’re a Jew hater, you’re not going to like that. And like I just said, the Candace Owens, the Megyn Kellys, and so on. Candace Owens, by the way, just really quick, I know I don’t normally talk about other people much, and she’s one I really shouldn’t give any airtime to because she’s just such a wackadoodle anymore. I mean, I saw a post from her today on X talking about how, you know, Macron, of course, is gay, married to a transgender man. Obama is the same. Zelensky is the same. I mean, she’s got this whole list of guys that she feels are gay, married to some sort of a transgender. And I’m just like, oh, my word, Candace, you have lost it. And frankly, here’s the way I look at that. Even if they are, who cares? At the end of the day, how does that affect Candace? I mean, let’s say, for example, Obama’s gay. How does that change anything? How does that make a difference at the end of the day? And why would anybody care? Because frankly, I don’t. Is he? I don’t know. I don’t care. You know, is Michelle transgender? I don’t know. Don’t care. How does it change anything at the end of the day? You know, the rumors are that she is. That’s why people call her Big Mike. Michelle, Mike, you get it. I don’t know. Again, I don’t care. Is Zelensky gay? I don’t know. Don’t care. It’s a non-issue to me. At the end of the day, how does it change anything if he is? If they are. But man, Candace, she gets going on some of these things and she just won’t let go. She’s relentless. I can’t imagine being married to that woman. Holy cow. What a miserable life that would be. That woman doesn’t ever forget anything. You’re never going to leave anything down when you’re married to her. Holy cow. I probably shouldn’t say that, but man alive. She just won’t let stuff go. Now, I get it. And being married to her would be way different because what she’s doing in public is more for clicks and getting people to follow her and watch her. And that’s how she makes money and, and, and, and, and. And again, keep in mind, she’s also against, you know, Charlie Kirk, Erica Kirk, all that. You know, she’s just a pot stirrer. And she’s a wackadoodle. She is an absolute wackadoodle. But I get it. It’s all there for the clicks and so on and so forth. And that’s it. So, anyways, Cub Creek heating and air conditioning coming up next. Make sure you dial them when it comes to your furnace. SPEAKER 09 :
Now back to Rush to Reason on KLZ 560. Okay, we are back. Rush to Reason, Denver’s Afternoon Rush, KLZ 560. Okay, news, and I didn’t get into this much on Tuesday. Andy and I didn’t. And mainly just, I don’t know, we just didn’t have time. Jasmine Crockett, who is another wackadoodle. I have no other way to say it. She is a complete, complete nutjob. She lost the primary race. and lost to a guy that i did a little bit of studying on today who is supposedly a i’m putting air quotes around this christian pastor but he’s not i’m sorry he just isn’t not according to the way i look at it i mean he believes in transgender rights and feels like we should have abortions for transgenders and just all sorts of other absolute utter nonsense Yeah, God is non-binary. The guy’s just a weirdo. Now, is he as whacked as she is? Probably in his thinking, he just presents it better than she does. She just vomits. I don’t know how else to say it. She’s a vomiter. And she’s facing criticism now from black Democrats after losing that. Well, I can tell you why she lost it, because she just vomits all over everything. She has no strategy in what she does or says. And she’s inaccurate in a lot of the things that she says. She’s just out there. So Tallarico, is that how you say his name, Charlie? It’s T-A-L-A-R-I-C-O. Tallarico, I’m guessing, is how you would say that. That’s who she lost to. She faces criticism from members of her own party on Wednesday following her loss in the Senate primary, including one who said the progressive firebrand ran an effing terrible campaign. That’s what her own party is saying about her. People who don’t understand politics will be upset because Jasmine was their hero, said Democrat Texas State Representative Yolanda Jones. But for people who understand politics, Crockett literally had no ground game. Texas State Representative James Tallarico defeated Crockett in the state’s Senate primary on Tuesday as Democrats worked to elect a Democrat senator in the red state for the first time since 1988. And again, I can already tell you why Jasmine. Lost because she just vomits. She has no, first of all, no right being a politician, but she has no finesse. That’s the word I was looking for. There isn’t any. She is as rough as it gets. And she’s a liar and all sorts of other things as well. I’ll just say it this way. She’s not very intelligent either. And no, I’m not saying that because of her skin color. She’s just not very intelligent. Period. There’s a lot of people out there, all sorts of races that aren’t intelligent. She’s not the only one, but she’s not very intelligent. Anyways, she’s taking heat inside of her own party. Now, here’s something interesting going on here in Colorado between Bennett and Polis. This also tells you that everything that I and Andy have been saying about Jared Polis running for president someday is true. Because during a recent debate, Bennett said Polis is allergic to building big statewide coalitions. At another gathering, Bennett said he totally disagrees with the idea that the governor’s health care policies have worked. So Polis is getting criticism right now from his own. That doesn’t happen very often, by the way. Normally, the left, man, they are lock, stock, and barrel in line with one another, and they do not attack each other ever. But keep in mind, this is Michael Bennett. who is as big of a weakling as you can get. He has to, I guess, come up with something to try to set him apart from Phil Weiser. And I don’t think what Michael understands is he’s going to be the Democrat pick no matter what anyways. Highly doubtful Weiser comes through in the primary, that this is probably Michael’s way of trying to make sure that he gets that all sewn up so that he’s got no competition. But I don’t think – this is my own advice to Michael Bennett – I don’t think attacking Polis is helping. Because those that are on the left and those that are even in the middle that like Governor Polis, attacking him is probably not helping you. Now, here’s the opportunity for us on our side. If we could ever figure out a good candidate to run on our side, they could actually go after and attack Polis and Bennett both in the right way, policies and so on. not attacking the man, but attacking what they’ve stood for, I think you have a chance. A slim, slim chance, but you do have a chance. And what Michael Bennett is also criticizing Polis for is the fact that no teacher can live in Denver. No teacher can live in most cities in this state, or most towns for that matter. They have to live far away where they’re cheap. And I’m sorry to say that, but the administration that we’ve had, a Democrat administration in Colorado, has not helped with that situation. It’s not the proper role of government, Michael Bennett. It’s not up to them to do that. And even though Governor Polis sticks his nose in a lot of places that he shouldn’t be and is not his proper role, this is definitely not one of those areas, Michael. It’s just not the proper role of government. And as governor, how are you going to change the cost of living in cities and towns? You’re not going to unless he’s going to come up with some sort of a policy bill that gives teachers some sort of a slush fund that they get for buying a house and making things cheaper. I mean, maybe he’s thinking about doing something along those lines. I don’t know. But I think it’s very irresponsible to criticize the current governor for something that that governor has no control over. And the next thing, I’m sure that he’s going to come out and say, so see, we’re just not paying these teachers enough money. That’s the problem. You’re not paying them enough, which, again, is not true either. But they’re fighting. And again, you rarely, and I mean this, you rarely see any kind of infighting among Democrats. Doesn’t normally happen. In this case, it may simply just be the fact that The Democrats feel like there’s Bennett and Weiser, and there’s Democrats that are going to be on both sides of that. Some are going to want Weiser to win. Some are going to want Michael Bennett to win. Polis is leaving no matter what. And I guess maybe the way the Democrats are looking at this is it doesn’t matter if we have some infighting because the right has no chance of winning anyway, so who cares? I would venture to guess that what I just said is how the left is looking at this. And they’re basically saying, hey, at the end of the day, we can do whatever we want to because the conservatives, they have no chance of winning anyways. It ain’t going to happen. Republicans aren’t going to win, so why bother? We can pretty much get by and do whatever we want to. We can have some infighting. It’s not going to make any difference one way or the other. And that’s not the only infighting. There’s been another infight. It’s not in front of me. It’s not in my notes. But there’s another particular, I think it’s a challenger for Boebert. That particular race, there’s a challenger for Boebert’s seat. And one of the primary contenders started a lawsuit to keep somebody else out of the primary and lost. So there’s now a primary between two Democrats there that I don’t think they wanted. So there’s a little infighting going on in the Democrat Party in Colorado. It’s not all peachy keen. They don’t have the same problems we have, of course. We’ve got other things happening, which, by the way, really quick, one of you that was listening on Tuesday was really upset with me because I was talking about some of the lawsuits going on inside of the state party, and I was being accused of not knowing what I was talking about and who started the lawsuits and this, that, and the other. There’s another one that came out. Raymond Garcia, who, by the way, is a complete, absolute, total knucklehead. Guy’s a fool. He started another one against people that I thought he was aligned with. That’s what a fool he is. And point being, there’s now going to be more money spent because you have stupid people like Raymond Garcia starting lawsuits that he has no business starting because he’s a fool. And again, as I said on Tuesday, these are people, Raymond Garcia is a guy that actually ran for office at one point in time that I interviewed, who, again, didn’t have a snowball’s chance of winning, still was nice and interviewed him and so on. But these are the same people now that couldn’t win an election that want to run the elections and the right. You know, the elections for the right is what I should say. These are insane people. I have no other way to say it. They’re absolutely insane. But yet they’re the ones, as Andy and I talked about on Tuesday, that are running the party. Basically, at this point in time, have total control over the party. Well, total control over the 1% of the party that still makes decisions for the 99%. Let’s say it that way. So point being, there’s infighting on our side, but looks like there’s some on the left side, some on the left as well, which I’m a little bit shocked at because I really felt like this is going to be a runaway for Bennett. He really does need to poke at anybody. It would behoove him to just talk about the policies and the things that he would come in and change and make happen and so on. But to criticize Polis at this point I think is really dumb. Now, what I’m saying is with all that being said, a lot of the decisions that Polis has made aren’t as hardcore as the left would want them to be because he wants to run for president. And that’s why. So there are a lot of these decisions that Polis has made. For example, he’s talking about doing a pardon or reduction of sentence for Tina Peters. And again, that’s coming because he wants to run for president someday. This isn’t because he believes in Tina or the cause or anything along those lines. Nope. This is simply because he wants to be looked at as that benevolent leader. Period. Period. Mark my word on that. Polis does every single thing calculated in a way because he wants to be president someday. He at least wants to have a shot at it. And as a side note, he is twice as smart as Michael Bennett. Now, in closing, in this particular segment, we’ve got a full another hour coming your way, but in closing, I’ll come back to one commercial is all. Be careful what we wish for because there’s a lot of folks out there that don’t like Governor Polis. I’m one of them. I’ll take him over Michael Bennett all day long. Michael Bennett, you talk about being a total Marxist. That is him. I mean, Polis is also. But they’re on two different levels, Michael Bennett and Governor Polisar. So we should be careful what we wish for because we’re going to end up with Michael Bennett, and it’s going to be way worse than it is under Governor Polis. That one I can guarantee you, folks.
